and sometimes people focus too much on numbers. if people would start watching Cats games instead of just reading boxscores they would see how important this Kidd is.

MKG will average 17/10/4/2/1.5 in his best year. I have plenty of confidence in him which has hardly wavered over the struggles. He's shown a lot when he's played well. He can be a dominant force in this league.

Without MKG were 1-4 right now instead of 3-2. Taylor is a nice player, but put Taylor on Carmelo or Gay the past two games instead of MKG and we lose by double digits both games. MKGs defense is incredible.

I've been saying this all along ever since last season. I think I even made a thread about it. I never understood why Dunlap always placed Jeff Taylor on the opposing team's best player instead of MKG. Sure, Taylor does a good job of putting forth defensive effort, but he usually get scorched by elite scorers. I wish Clifford would've tried MKG on Anthony Davis in that game against the Pelicans because I remember him matching up well against him last season, even blocking a couple of his shots. Hopefully next time both teams meet

really nice video cutup of MKG's defense on Carmelo Anthony in the latest Knicks game, and some props for his development here http://hardwoodparoxysm.com/2013/11/07/ ... -could-be/

MKG, again, draws a comparison to Shawn Marion, with his ability to guard most positions. In that Pelicans game, MKG could have gone from guarding Anthony Davis, to Tyreke, to Jrue Holiday, to Eric Gordon and his defense would've limited all of them. With the exception of Biyombo, our big men couldn't defend a Christmas tree. If Clifford is noticing what we are, MKG will get a lot of assignments against bigger matchups, like Anthony Davis.

Now that's a solid article. Why can't Bonnell write stuff like this?

You can see Clifford on the sidelines in those clips instructing players to sag off, tighten up, put their hands up, how to position themselves, and etc. Clifford's long tenured NBA experience and coaching will make MKG a elite perimeter defender before long

Just a week and a half ago Bonnell wrote that Taylor had passed MKG. He's basically an idiot.

Another good article on MKG.

Bonnell really wrote that? I must have missed that article.

Thanks for posting the link. I'm glad MKG is now getting some props from the media.

Bonnell rarely, if ever praises MKG for anything. Hes such a biased beat reporter its ridiculous. Henderson couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat all of pre season and the first few games this season yet Bonnell defended him as if he was his little brother.

I'm glad that MKG is getting the recognition for his season so far.

I'm extremely glad that his defense is getting praised by the media as this will affect the ticky tacky fouls he seems to get because refs aren't used to guys actually playing real defense.

It's terrible but known that reputation affects the whistles.

The past 3 games MKG has averaged 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal while shooting at 68% from the field. Seems like his confidence is building so far early in the season. What's more encouraging is during the Knicks game we saw him shoot a few jumpers, and even made a few.

MKG has been the Bobcats most consistent player throughout this early season. It's warranted that he get some recognition after being thrown under the bus in sorts following a lackluster preseason. All he has to do is keep confidence in that awkward jumper, because he can make it, he just be too hesitant to shoot it which ends up making him a offensive liability sometimes

Bonnell with some semi-positive words for MKG. Discusses his similarities with Andre Iguodala.
