That's a good point. Shabazz broke out of his mini slump last night.

So according to this run we're 75% likely to draft McLemore no matter how the lottery ends up. Makes the lottery almost pointless

I actually think this years draft is shaping up similar to last years draft minus the consensus number one.

Even though this draft is considered weak it has some very talented players who project as starter quality role players in the right situation, I believe that the reason this draft is considerd weak is not simply because of the talent but because of the holes in said prospects games.

This is an exact example of a situational draft where teams who usually take BPA tend to pick need instead because the top players project to a similar ceiling and are of current similar ability each with said flaws, FO's tend to sway toward highest floor as opposed to highest ceiling and some top prospects will drop.

Zeller, Shabazz and McLemore etc may drop for this reason, in favour of players like Oladipo, Burke and Porter etc.

This is the perfect draft to land the #1 pick and trade down a few spots.

From his DX scouting video he is all but Andray Blatche 2.0.

My prediction is
1.Sacramento (as they are assumed to have new ownership situation like New Orleans had, wink wink) - Noel
2.Charlotte - McLemore
3.Orlando - Muhammad (traded to Phoenix)
4.Phoenix - Smart (traded to Orlando; this could have more legs if Lakers miss playoffs)
etc.
Now it'S time to play with that ESPN thing to see what they think

I think I would truly give up on this rebuild if we draft McLemore :-?

I don't have anyone particular I want us to draft. On the other hand I would pick Ollynyk over Zeller (not with our pick though).

Blatche? Way too harsh. Not even similar sorts of players to be honest.

How does Bennett compare to larry johnson?

Hes an athletic PF from UNLV. Other than that not much. If he went to school at Oklahoma no one would compare him to Johnson.

He sure doesn't compare to Blatche. Blatche plays nothing like him.

If Blatche had a jumper like Bennett he would be a very good player, but he doesn't. Comparison starts and ends there.

First Gary Harris. Now Joe Harris. Where are all these Harris people coming from all of a sudden?

Still fiddling around with the ESPN lotto machine and it seems Charlotte's chances of landing McLemore are enhanced regardless of draft slot due to the high number of teams with the highest probability of leapfrogging the Bobcats having little use for McLemore compared to the likes of Noel, Len and Smart. If the Bobcats drop below these teams, we still may see McLemore there.

The teams are:

Hornets (Gordon)
Wizards (Beal)
Cavs (Waiters)
Kings (Evans)

The biggest threat to McLemore are the Suns and Magic (especially if Smart is off the board). The T-Wolves are also a threat despite a 3.5% of getting the number 1 overall pick. They could still jump to 2 or 3 and take McLemore if we fall to 4.

McLemore seems to be #1 on the T-Wolves board, thus the most likely trade target if we're looking to trade down. Also the Suns.

I kid you not I played the simulator four times. Three times we go the number one pick, and once the number two. All four times we picked McLemore and Mason Plumlee the two players I really want out of this draft. :o
