I'm a lot higher on Noel than I am on McLemore in terms of overall talent, at least would retain more value just being a big. There are a lot more wings worth drafting than bigs in this upcoming draft also.

The only reason Charlotte isn't at the bottom of the standings is because they have a competent coaching staff and their young core has been kept intact and progressed together. It has little to do with Jefferson.

Oh, I agree. Charlotte should've drafted Nerlens Noel, but he's in good hands now

It doesn't appear that Cho drafts BPA or with future draft classes in mind. It appears that he's all about selecting players that have a great work ethic, level head on their shoulders, and some form of winning pedigree in the NCAA

The truth is out. Bynum is suspended by the Cavs for smashing one of the assistant coaches' wife. I knew something wasn't right about that story at first.

For those who are mad at Cho for drafting MKG last year you better be happy that he didn't take the obvious pick in Thomas Robinson. Robinson has now fell out of favor in Portland too. He's officially been benched for Meyers Leonard.

I still think we should have picked nobody and tried to trade down or out altogether. Nobody in the top 10 was worth it.

Bennett is pure garbage and could be out of the league after his rookie deal. I'm not all that surprised.
Oladipo is alright, but not the stud a lot were making him out to be. Will probably be a good starter someday, but not elite.
Otto Porter has yet to play any meaningful minutes.
Zeller- the jury is out on him. He's looked okay, but below expectations.
Len has all sorts of ankle issues.
Noel has all sorts of knee issues and I'm not sold he'll be better than Biz.
McLemore is very inefficient and while he'd fit here, I'm glad we didn't pick that Nick Young/JR Smith clone.
KCP is always going to be a role player. That was clear before the draft and is even clearer now.
Burke is probably the best of the top 10, but won't be as good as Kemba.
McCollum wouldn't have been a terrible option, and would probably grow into Session's role eventually, but he has foot issues.

That rounds out the worst top 10 since 2000, and will probably end up being even worse because there isn't anyone that will even come close to an All-Star appearance.

Three of the next five picks were MCW, Adams, and Antetokounmpo, who I think all have a good chance to be better than any of the top 10.

Anthony Davis can't save the Pelicans. He's going to be another Kevin Love. A great player going years on years with a mediocre team not making the playoffs. Watch.

Yeah, I like the direction Philly is in.

That's not good, that's been our draft model our entire history.

Hey, I like Meyers Leonard. Better than Zeller and T-Rob anyway.

Yeah, can't argue with that. I wouldn't call McL a JR Smith/Nick Young clone though, McL has his head on much straighter than those knuckleheads. He just has terrible handles/midrange game.

In the midst of all of the Jordan Hamilton talk, I ran across this...

I didn't even know that this happened. Hamilton stole off on Steven Adams

Ersan "Third Best Stretch-4 in the League" (according to Bucks fans) Ilyasova has made 8 threes the whole season.

Ilyasova is one of the most inconsistent players I've ever seen. He don't have a bad month in between the season like most inconsistent players. He has bad seasons and good seasons. I would've been gave up on him if I was the Bucks. I think Larry Sanders is going to be the same way.

Just a hunch. He doesn't come off as a player that'll be consistent. Every Bucks game I've watched Sanders is either outstandingly good or horrifically bad.

I agree with you. I wouldn't trade Biz for Sanders. Sanders does not bring it every night.

Ilyasova, on the other hand, started last season playing horrendous basketball as well. For example, he shot 21% from three in November, then followed that up by going 89-for-186 (more than 50%) from three the rest of the year. He has hot and cold months.

I concur on witnessing the inconsistencies of Larry Sanders. I'm a betting man, and I used to try to use the Bucks as my sleeper team last year. Sanders used to leave me exasperated by how he would have 1 good game (13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks), followed by 2 bad games (4 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks), followed by 1 super-amazing game (17 points, 20 rebounds, 2 blocks), followed by another dud (4 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block). The ignorance in me loss in excess of $500 wagering that the Bucks would win at least one game in their playoff series against the Heat last year, and Sanders was the most annoying & undependable player on their roster watching the games

The list has Lin and Thornton on there, yet no mention of Rudy Gay (Toronto improved immensely without him) or Crash. Lin's actually almost worth his contract (not quite but almost). I wouldn't take Crash for half his contract right now. The guy seriously should consider retirement. He's averaging 4/3.5/2.5 this season, and that's in more than 20 minutes. He's completely finished and has $30M of contract left.

That remains to be seen. I get what you're saying though, great player who just never gets any organizational help. It'll be a shame too, because if he could get on a good team he could absolutely carry them through the playoffs
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Cleveland look better without Kyrie. Not really, but this might be the best display of defense I've ever seen from them. Don't ask me how I got caught up watching this game when the Heat-Warriors game is on. I somewhat like watching Dion Waiters sometimes. He's from Philly :dontknow:
