This time of year always brings bloodshed in arguing for prospects.

Link to my Lottery Mafia top 14 big board: http://thelotterymafia.com/nba-draft/lottery-gold-mining-the-top-14-big-board.html

TL;DR version:

1. Wiggins.
2. Parker
3. Embiid
4. Randle
5. Exum
6. Gordon
7. McDermott
8. Young
9. Smart
10. LaVine
11. Anderson
12. Ennis
13. Saric
14. Vonleh

Edit: List is just a general ranking, not a traditional mock draft of where I think each player should go.

I think Detroit would jump all over Smart.

Detroit drafting Rodney Stuckey all over again would be excellent for our 2015 draft.

This would almost be like a dream come true. Cho don't got the balls to do it though.

For sure, especially since the rest of management was against his last white guy pick (allegedly). Cho is oddly not a mover and shaker during the draft. Weirdly, his only draft day trade has been trading up for Biyombo, hasn't it?

I love Biz and I think he'll justify his draft selection eventually (or at least come close) but there were so many easier moves Cho probably could have done during his tenure.

24 and Zeller might be a slight overpay for McDermott but yeah, I'd probably do it just to get out of Zeller's contract.

If someone would take Zeller and 24 for McDermott I would consider it a steal for us. We get the far better player and it only costs a late first.

24 and Zeller for Mcdermott isn't a slight overpay. Paying Zeller top 5 pick rookie scale money is a overpay.

I think Smart is exponentially more talented than Stuckey.

Say Shabazz Napier is there at 24 and the Knicks really needing a PG call up and offer Tim Hardaway Jr.

Would you make that swap?

Knicks aren't going to give up Hardaway, at all. The fans love him dearly, and he is a really good prospect.

That being said, absolutely.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I have to think long and hard about that one. I absolutely love Napier, but we'd be drafting him as a career backup. Shabazz is an absolute steal that far down. I'd take him over Marcus Stupid ten times out of ten. On the other hand, Tim Hardaway Jr is already a decent player in the league- a legit scorer, with a solid touch from the NBA three. I'd try to make them eat Haywood or Neal's contract and consider the deal with one of them included.

I honestly don't know which one I'd pick.

Yes, for the hope that one day, Gerald will be shipped out of Charlotte

Is the difference between Hardaway Jr and CDR that great?

Easily but I am not a huge Napier fan. I really doubt we could get a good player like Hardaway for him.

For us, in basketball terms, oh yeah.

I also think the difference between Napier and Felton is significant if the Knicks plan on rebuilding. We will have to see what happens with Carmelo Anthony. There's no cap space for a significant free agent PG for the Knicks, I don't think. And they don't have a draft pick. Also Napier has visibility in the NYC market and MSG due to the old Big East and the Huskies. He's a guy I think they'd target. And obviously Hardaway Jr. fits our needs. I'd definitely ask about him if put in the position to do so.
