So true and Warriors have no center on their roster that's anywhere close to his height and can guard him except for a hobbled Cousins. Dude looked like a top tier center Game 1. Looney was a joke a match-up.

Bogut could defend him but I can’t see Kerr playing bogut ahead of cousins. He would snap

How far do you think we could have got if we had traded Kemba for Kawhi before the season?

It’s crazy to think he could have been had for not a whole lot. Let’s say the deal was Kemba & MKG (to make salaries work) for Kawhi and we drafted SGA instead of Miles since they knew they were trading Kemba.

Starters: SGA-Lamb-Kawhi-Marvin-Zeller
Bench: Tony-Monk-Batum-Frank-Biz

I don’t know if that’s better than MIL or PHI, but I think they win at least 50 games and get to the 2nd or 3rd round depending on matchups. Kawhi would still leave but we’d then have cap space...

Kawhi would've walked in the locker room saw Parker and sat out again.

Oh sht that totally slipped my mind. Okay then we just go on to sign one of the other FA PGs (Napier, Seth, Elfrid, etc...) instead of Parker in 2018

We would've made it to the 2nd round probably. Toronto has a lot of depth, they hit on most of their draft picks. Thats why they have been consistently good/very good for the past several years. They just needed a real star player to complete it.

You think?

They really haven’t hit on a draft pick since 2003 when they took Bosh.

Since then it’s been 1st round picks like:
Rafael Araújo (8th overall)
Charlie Villanueva (7th overall)
Joey Graham (16th overall)
Andrea Bargnani (1st overall)
DeMar DeRozan (9th overall - and their one “hit”)
Ed Davis (13th overall)
Jonas Valančiūnas (5th overall)
Terrence Ross (8th overall)
Bruno Caboclo (20th overall)
Delon Wright (20th overall)
Jakob Pöltl (9th overall)
Pascal Siakam (27th overall - a huge “hit”)
OG Anunoby (23rd overall)

Toronto winning the finals will be the thing that perma-crashes this website.

I really don't see how Toronto wins anymore games once KD comes back. They play fascinating team ball, but they just don't have the scorers to keep up with 2 of the most prolific scorers in NBA history.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

It must be nice to be a fan of a team that is able to make moves to get better.

The Hawks are going to be legit soon. What a perfect rebuild. Sooo jealous.

Meh, I'm not real jealous of ATL. I don't feel like they're going anywhere soon.

I doubt it, it takes a lot to get over the hurdle. They have to hit this draft if I were them I'd package to move up to 3 if I had a player I really liked at that spot. Seems like a no brainer

If the Knicks strike out in FA now that it looks like KD/Kyrie are going to Brooklyn....oh boy. I would feel sorry for them but Knicks fans act like Toronto fans without the winning. So entitled. Not sure what their problem is.

I think the Nets would be much better off keeping DLo instead of going after Kyrie.

Kyrie should go to LA and they should trade for Davis.

KD go to Brooklyn.

Butler and Harris should resign in Philly (definitely Butler at least).

Kawhi stay in Toronto.

This is me hoping for the most competitively balanced result and not KD staying with the Warriors and all the other good free agents conglomerating on to two or three other teams.

Brooklyn has built itself a really good reputation. I like what Atlanta is doing now as well.

FA wise, it would be interesting if Kyrie & KD ended in Brooklyn, but it does mean that NY would throw everything at Kemba.

OTOH I don't see any big name guy really wanting to go to the Knicks. The org has been a disaster for so long.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Kemba won't sign with the Knicks. The only big threat to sign him is Dallas. They have some good players there, a great coach, and Silas is also on the staff. If Kemba leaves I'm almost certain he will be suiting up in a Mavericks jersey next season.

Why is everyone assuming KD goes to the Nets now?

Nets now have two slots, they are a way better organization than the Knicks, still in NYC, a lot of super roleplayers than compliment KD immediately and the Nets don't have a history of stars so KD can immediately come in and be the face of the franchise

Plus he would look a lot better in black and white than the ugly Knicks colors.

I want it to happen just to see the Knicks fanbase get let down again
