My thoughts exactly, I think they'll trade ZBo for some kind of scorer off the bench, plus other valuable bench players and maybe a draft pick or two. I don't think ZBo will ever have a season as great as last year, he's on the decline and I think the Grizzlies FO would rather have Gasol get more touches on offense and a better bench than keeping ZBo. They' now have Darrell Arthur and Ed Davis as ZBo's backups, I think it's a pretty solid rotation even with ZBo. They might get short on scoring option but they should be able to get some good pieces given Randolph's talent.

But god damn Colangelo is a terrible GM. I would hate to have him as my GM. Makes me very thankful for Cho's presence.

6'6 Chris Johnson made 53 3 pters in D League

That Johnson kid got me confused for some time, since Minny also picked up a D-Leaguer named Chris Johnson. Anyway, good to see that they have some more deep threats, he's already been making some threes for the Grizz. Some smart moves made by Hollinger, indeed.

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine
Mavs were indeed interested in Calderon, as they've been for ages, but refused to part w/Vince Carter and thus couldn't trump Prince & Daye

Kendrick Perkins ‏@KendrickPerkins
Wow that was 1 crazy trade today. Are you serious Rudy Gay is right there under KD, Lebron, Kobe, and Melo. #badtrade

...and Batum and Gallinari and Kirilenko and Deng and Pierce and Iguodala..... you know, all those guys? Rudy Gay is probably the 10th best SF in the league and is paid more than all of them except Lebron and Melo.

He'd probably be an upgrade over a lot of the Raptors front office.

Judging by what I've seen from them on the GB, very few of them actually like it. Some do though, and they're trying to justify trading for a player so similar to Demar Derozan, except he's paid TWICE as much as Derozan, who is already overpaid.

Just hearing from the Rap's fans on the offtopic board, apparently there is a decent amount of fans who see Gay as a bit of a saviour.

Even Rap's fans annoy Rap's fans, a lot of them believe the hype that Colangelo is good at his job and the ref's cause most of their failures.

^ Well, we've seen some of that firsthand this season, but any half-witted basketball fan with any knowledge of player/contract value can see Colangelo is god-awful at his job. Refs handing them the short end of the stick surely isn't the only thing causing failures.

Its only a savior if they trade Bargnanis contract (good luck) for cap relief and get a Jefferson type player in free agency. Even then....

Hes heading there. Verejaos (sp?) contract will be much easier for them to sign with him being injured, and even then I think Irving, and Thompson will still be on their rookie contracts to go along with Waiters....

Yeah.. He enjoys hopping on a bandwagon with talent.

The BBVA Rising Stars draft is next Thursday. Chris Webber thinks Barkley will pick Harrison Barnes and some bigs and think he will win.

Surprise, surprise, Jared Sullinger is out for the season with a back problem. So glad we didn't draft this guy.

Wow. Jared Sullinger was the only player left on the Celtics after the Rondo injury that I would've considered trading for.
