biyombo 3
haywood 2
taylor 1
walker 2.5
mkg 5
sessions 5
gay 18
jefferson ~ 12
jr smith ~ 8

fill out rest of roster with min guys, maybe 5 of them for 1 mil a piece.

i guess if they take gordon and we renounce hendo, amnesty tyrus and mcroberts then its possible. puts us at 61.5

still dont like it. hate that team to be honest. gay and smith two of my least fav players in the league. bad defense, lots of chuckers, low bball iq, treadmill.

20 million cap space (Gay)
13 million Ben Gordon (Jefferson)
8 million amnesty Tyrus (JR Smith)

Amnestying Tyrus is part of the 20 million in cap space.....

There's plenty of defense on the bench though with Biz and MKG. Those guys would play heavy minutes I would think for bench players. Their development would still be a priority. Both are still young. Gay is a short deal and Jefferson's probably will be short as well.

Seeing Gay and that 18 next to his name makes my stomach cringe.

[tweet]https://twitter.com/stevekylerNBA/status/292437704585662465[/tweet]

Make it happen Cho. Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Bismack Biyombo, & Cody Zeller are the untouchables. I would offer the Raptors a package of Ben Gordon & Ramon Sessions for Rudy Gay

Think of it as a huge expiring that comes off the books immediately after a young Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets roster become a playoff team that could easily attract top free agents looking for the max

what is our fascination with rudy **** gay? ARGH. he is so average and absurdly overpaid.

however, i guess his expiring deal would be a nice trade piece next year... assuming we actually used an expiring deal for something for once in our franchises existence.

just hate what this means for MKG though. i was really looking forward to seeing MKG play 30+ mins next season.

Well thankfully that was a tweet from January before the trade deadline. We have no interest in Rudy Gay at all that I know of.

I brought forth that tweet to make the point that it is realistic to think that we were aggressively pursuing him 6 months ago so why not now?

Now he has 1 less year remaining on his contract.

Now he is held by a team that wants to tank instead of a playoff bound team (Memphis).

Now if anything his price tag is much lower when supposedly it was too high for the Bobcats just 6 months ago.

Just because the aggressive pursuit ended when Memphis dealt him to Toronto, I see no reason why it would not restart since Gay has been made available again.

It's 2 years. Has nothing to do with MKG. Might actually help him develop his game with Rudy as his mentor.

Ichiro I am starting to think you are a fan of other teams. Your plan is to totally kill our squad and destroy everything we have tried to build.

Would you guys take Bogut, Biedrins (expiring) next yr and 3 first unprotected for cap space so we could sign D12?

Pelicans/Bobcats/Nuggets

Pelicans trade Vasquez/Lopez
Gets Wilson Chandler

Bobcats trade Taylor/ Adrien/2014 2nd
Gets Lopez/Vasquez

Nuggets trade Wilson Chandler
Gets Taylor/Adrien/2014 Charlotte 2nd

Pelicans get their sf

Bobcats get 2 nice young players can play Vasquez and kemba together

Nuggets only do this trade to dump salary if they sign Igoudala.

If those picks are all from the Warriors they won't be that good.

God no.

That is a horrible offer. You would have to sweeten the pot a hell of a lot more than that.
