Looks like he deleted his last tweet. It was particularly pompous.

I love that everyone is calling him out on his crap.

Pity its water of a ducks back to him though, we're all just bored 20 somethings wasting our time being abusive on the internet.

I guess its nice to be mistaken for 20 something

Lol. How many times is Bonnell going to talk about "20 somethings"

Carrying over the food conversation from the Lin thread

Sachmo wrote:gotta be more there than Corrigin.

Here is my 1 favourite place to eat:

http://www.corriginhotel.net/

cause it is literally the only decent meal in town. The chef does do some mean curries though.

Otherwise unless you like looking at wheat/canola farms or visiting the only dog cemetary I've ever seen, there is nothing.

Andy's Curry of the Day - sounds pretty good. Looks expensive though. Sad the lunch menu wouldn't populate...

And as I type this, I have a stomach ache, been hurting all day, but here I am talking about food.

I'm curious to see everyone post a link to some of their favorite local places to eat.

@Vandy

http://www.picadelis.com/PicadelispdfMenu.html

I've never heard of this place. It must be on the other side of Independence, which as any Charlotte native knows, means it might as well be on the other side of the earth. You need to have a damn good reason to cross over Independence.

If I had gone there today for lunch (assuming no stomach ache) I would have gone for the Bratwurst.

you're right. latest I found was at 1:18AM. that's neither that late, nor the particular tweet was that bad.

though I had to cringe so hard about the blogger who told Rick that he is his idol.

Yeah, I really just can't understand someone who thinks Rick is a particularly good writer, even if your standard for being a "good writer" is generally disinterested but writes quality pieces.

get through the commercial and watch 00:00 - 00:15 of the interview. how the hell can that man be in charge of a NFL team? I heard that he used to be a janitor, doormat seller, etc.

In Asheville:
Wicked Weed: Give me their fish and chips and one of their funky ales, like Bretticent, and i'm a happy man: http://www.wickedweedbrewing.com/restaurant/menu/#apps

W.A.L.K. (West Asheville Lounge & Kitchen): The Blackened Chicken Sandwich with a Sierra Nevada Kellerweis! http://www.walkavl.com/pdfs/Menu_2064.pdf

King James Public House: The Duck Wings are incredible. http://www.kingjamespublichouse.com/images/menus/lunch.1.30.15.pdf

and I'm a fan of Farm Burger, I get mine with lettuce, tomato, lusty monk mustard & pickled jalapenos. yum: http://www.farmburger.net/asheville#asheville-menu-specials

Plus, if you're ever in Asheville, you've got to try Hole Doughnuts, they fry them to order and they're just melt in your mouth fried dough yumminess, like a beignet at Cafe Dumond. https://www.facebook.com/holedoughnuts

My wife and I took a trip to Asheville last fall and this was our food itinerary:

Dinner Day 1 - Tupelo Honey
Breakfast Day 2 - Early Girl
Lunch Day 2 - Table
Dinner Day 2 - Bouchon
After Dinner Drinks Day 2 - Wicked Weed
Dessert Day 2 - French Broad Chocolate
Breakfast Day 3 - HomeGrown
Brunch Day 3 - Dough (just learned it closed this past summer, that sucks)
Lunch Day 3 - Twisted Crepe

Twas a good weekend getaway.

Jesus Christ, did you gain 20 lbs in 3 days? That's a lot of eating.
