i really liked playing madden on the ps2, i never liked the new ones. from what I remember its like they tried to make it like FIFA and failed terribly.

yeah I regret buying madden 20 something fierce. I hadn't bought madden since madden 13, but decided to take a go on the series again to see if there had been any headway. The games are almost identical and share many of the same shortcomings. It will be the last ea sports game I ever buy.

I got 19 after a longer layoff like I hadn't gotten one since the original xbox/ps2 days. Once I stopped trying to play the way I used to, it was semi enjoyable. Semi-like how you can't just abuse guys being real fast and there are some mechanics to take advantage of tall players. I can't win every game by 50 going 4 wide every play like I used to. I've basically turned into John Fox.

Single-player/ Franchise mode UIs are a lot worse though. It's definitely balanced to be a multiplayer game now and the franchise mode is just thrown in as an after thought. The NFL should sell more licenses to other companies. It got a lot worse when EA got exclusive rights.

Franchise mode was down all weekend. It was super annoying.

MUT (their additional revenue stream) was running without issue though.....

Leeds are about to be purchased by Qatar (they also own PSG for context). The BPL has so many incredibly run teams right now. Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Wolves, Leicester, Tottenham, and even West Ham all have incredibly ambitious ownership groups right now and I'd be eager to see Leeds in the mix.

They are the perfect team for PSG ownership to purchase. They already are the most hated team in England, so adding money to the equation will help restore them to the villains they used to be.

Can't say I have, though looking at it in Wiki real quick it seems interesting.

It is a sad time to be a spurs fan.

EDIT:
I went to edit this to hotspur, but its probably true for NBA spurs fans as well.

Dude he was great when he was humble, you hear stories of him being the first one out on the pitch puting out the cones, but its clear he doesn't have that passion any more.

I started following Tottenham when Gareth Bale was first purchased. I followed them because they were the main rivals of Arsenal, and Arsenal is owned by the guy who owns Walmart, and I hate Walmart. if I had just chosen Chelsea or Man City I would be a much more spoiled fan.

Oh well, never know, maybe what happened at Manchester United made him eat some humble pie, but I doubt it.

Thank God we didn't wear them last night. You wouldn't have been able to see our players.

They would have blended right into the court....

Holy crap Spurs might be doomed but we just signed my favorite player Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I absolutely must get a jersey. Cant help but think he adds much needed depth behind the frequently injured Harry Kane.

EDIT: NOT EVEN THIS PROVED TO BE TRUE.

You know what? So far so good under Mourinho. Dele Ali is being played in the right position, Kane is scoring goals, heck we have looked so much better. Mourinho might still have his way with players because the Spurs are looking as good as last year (if not better) under him!

I think at this point I'm not really a Duke fan anymore. Weird to say, I watched 100% of Duke games for like 15 years, but really started drifting when the one and done came and now I don't watch any games at all.
