The free agent PG from the Hornets compares favorably to those from other teams. This seems to be the hoopshype list.

Good luck to every team hoping to gain a good starting point guard. There's exactly one available

I'm not sure I understand this tweet. Is it because it's in Hornets colors?

If you read why he did that, it was actually a smart play. There was less than a second left. He heard the opposing coach tell the player to purposely miss the free throw so he wanted to make a putback dunk to stop the clock so he could get his team another possession to tie it up. Although it would require a miracle 4-point play, if they were only up by 1 at the time, they would have had a legitimate shot at tying the game.

Just finished the Orlando Magic 30 for 30. At the time, I hated the Magic because of the Zo-Shaq rivalry and because I felt it should have been the young core of LJ and Zo getting all the attention. I kinda laughed when Shaq left Orlando. Looking back, man, that was so brutal for the franchise. And its such a shame Penny got hurt like he did. The 90s just had too many amazing talents that had their careers ruined way too early with career altering injuries - Penny, LJ, Grant Hill, McDyess, Danny Manning - are five that immediately come to mind.

Anyway, I can't help but feel that a Hornets 30 for 30 would be every bit as interesting of a story.

I find the early to mid 90s draftees to be a very interesting bunch. those injuries you mentioned plus the guys with difficult characters (whether they got paid too much, had bad habits, had a difficult personality or whatever) created an environment where old teams like the '98 Jazz, 2000 Pacers could make it to the Finals.

easy to make a case for all of the following having underachieved - Derrick Coleman, Kenny Anderson, Christian Laettner (underrated for his moodiness), Chris Webber (wasted his 20s before joining the Kings), Isaiah Rider, Glenn Robinson, Stephon Marbury, Vin Baker, Jim Jackson.

add someone like Shawn Kemp falling off (though not a highly-touted player after HS/college, that's why I didn't put him on the list) and the NBA missed out on a couple of them leading 50-win teams in the late 90s. you for certain can know that the Sonics should have been there with GP and Kemp.

oh and yes, I also saw the doc. it was better than I thought. thank god Shaq didn't seemingly have too big of a creative input into it. he over-embellishes everything.

How come we didn't have the fortune to play the Heat without Whiteside?

Looks like the Raptors are going to survive. Sadly, they will get swept by the Cavs.

Biz with a nice roll dunk, makes up for the possession earlier where he was being guarded by Tyler Johnson and still nobody on his team looked his direction. LOL.

Biz the Heat extinguisher.

Couldn't help but think it could have been the Hirnets going to the ECF. The dinosaurs aren't even that good, especially DDR.

I think the Raptors can make it a series if Lowry and Derozan play up to their best ability together. The role playing cast has somewhat carried them thru the playoffs to this point.

All that crossfit paying off, Biz running around like a maniac for 35 minutes, doesn't even look tired.
