It's natural to have bias towards what you're familiar with. Same way most people here are biased towards ACC play.

I'm not Israeli. But I'm super high on Avdija.

And Cole Anthony...
And Anthony Edwards...
And Obi Toppin...
And Okongwu...

Currently I'm high on Avdija, Edwards and Toppin. But the player I'm rooting for Kupchak to pick on draft night is Deni Avdija. I think fans would love watching him compete for us. I also like that we won't have to wait years before we enjoy him. He's entertaining to watch right now. He has CHUTZPAH!

I think everyone still likes him.

There's not too many guys picked at 3 that would piss off the community as far as I can tell.

Hell, I could live with Ball as long as there's no absurd expectations attached to the guy - but there always are.

Literally the only thing they could do to make me punch my **** tv through the wall is draft Obi Toppin

Thanks to the always brilliant Snidely FC I am now ranking SaDDaQ Bey as the 2nd best player in this draft behind Tyrell Terry.
As I am sure you know I have always been a SaDDiq Bey fan but this draft has players who I like a lot and when that happens I
over look other players.
Saddiq is not a flashy player and I rarely give attention to those who have little to no POP factor. I think SaDDiq brings too much
to the table. great size, gives you 3 positions and great defender and passer.

Here is my latest top 10 players in this draft

1. Tyrell Terry
2. SaDDiq Bey
3. Isaiah Joe
4. Killian Hayes
7. Tyler Bey
8. Patrick Williams
9. Ty'shon Alexander
10.LaMelo Ball

This pick is for Snidely FC, so if SaDDiq turns out to be a great player, give all the credit to Snidely for his brilliance.

My dream Draft

Trade with Boston

PICK 14 - Tyrell Terry

PICK 26 - SaDDiq Bey

PICK 30 - Tyler Bey

PICK 32 - Jalen Smith

PICK 56 - Isaiah Joe

I know this would not happen but why not wish. There is a smaaaaaal posibility tho because I have seen mocks all over the place

Now I would almost definately trade Back since I have more insurance at 14 with either Terry or Bey being there.

If that were to happen we would have 2 guys name Bey. So that means we would litteraly be sittin on the dock of the bey.
Wasting time watching Joe rain in all the 3's

PS - If I over looked anyone I want you all to know that I admire you all in some sort of way. Your talents are truly appreciated. I learn everyday from watching the wisdom you guys display. Snidley FC has won the battle but the HORNETS board has won the war :). Go Hornets

This is surprising, but I wonder if it's smoke. I like that if he's our guy, they're doing their work and not being passive.

It's a little early for any team to be 'making a play' for any prospect.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Warriors need people to believe in these top guys so they can trade the pick and Wiggins for another star

Rumors are the teams with stars don't want to trade them. So the Warriors have to plan for drafting for keeps. I highly doubt they want LaMelo for keeps. And Wiseman, yeah they're looking at Dwight with their MLE.

the only reason players aren't moving right now is because of the cap turmoil across the league. warriors making their pick extra spicy is just due diligence. they'll talk up at least 3 more guys before all this is over - especially while Minnesota continues to show the rest of the league how sweaty their palms are regarding the #1 overall.

How come they didn't talk up Wiseman? Rumor was they're not high on him.

there's plenty of mocks with wiseman in GS though lol. agents and stations tap dance for all these guys. and even then, downplaying guys is part of this game too

out of the entire top 10 - GS is the main team out to deal. there's zero chance that they're looking at leaving the draft with any of these guys and wiggins/dray still on the books as a win.

edit: And I'm not hating/repping/etc here either - I'm literally the first response in the Deni thread saying we should trade back and steal him. GS is not playing the same game everyone else is right now. They don't need any of these guys. They do need everyone else to need their pick more than them.

In order for your claim about Warriors hyping Avdija to make sense as part of some plan to inflate the value of the top picks, they'd have to also hype Wiseman. So your point about Avdija doesn't make any sense.

Can't have it both ways. Either they're high on Avdija and not high on Wiseman or they're setting a smokescreen that they're high on both. If they're setting a smokescreen then why this?
