the NFL needs to fix something, the players are just going crazy

-Ray Rice hits girlfriend and KO's her
-Greg Hardy threatens to kill girlfriend (supposedly)
-Aldon Smith yells bomb in an airport
-Adrian Peterson whips kid

and these are just the star players, who knows how many scrubs are getting in trouble

my laptop is over 5 years old. i've been saving best buy gift cards for the past 2 years waiting for this laptop to die. the screen flickers anytime i move the screen, so i have to keep it perfectly still. other than that, it still runs like a champ.

if window 8 had received better reviews i probably would have made the jump already. now i am trying to wait for windows 9.

hardy is inactive. you just knew it was coming. i still don't know how i feel about that hardy case. after reading all the testimony from that trial there is still part of me that feels that girl is **** crazy and not trustworthy. in saying that, i would feel horrible if what she says is the absolute truth. if that is the case, hardy should be in jail for a while.

I love Windows 8 now. I've had it since my old laptop suffered the exact same fate as yours (though mine was on its second screen in three years after the first overheated). Windows 8 takes a little getting used to, and seems like it would be amazing on a two-in-one laptop/tablet or simply a touch-screen laptop, but once you're used to Windows 8, it feels like Windows 7 but with some new features. I've heard that Windows 9 isn't going to be released till spring of 2015 at the earliest, and I wouldn't recommend going out and buying a Windows 9 computer as soon as it comes out. I'd wait a few months after that at least. So unless you can wait it out another year (or more) with your current laptop, you're better off getting something with Win8. You may still be able to find some laptops with Windows 7 still on them (not sure, haven't shopped/researched for laptops in a while), and then upgrade your OS to Win9 after a year in Win9 gets nice reviews. Just my two cents.

My laptop of 5 years finally died on me last month, so I've had to resort to stealing my wife's. Thinking I might move over to the Macbook (Air) platform.

wow. I didn't know Gates still had such a game in him. that last TD, a one-handed catch, was pretty damn cool.

The Raiders need a new stadium, it must suck turning the field back and forth between football and baseball fields

I'm praying my fantasy team can pull off something here. I am down 62-50 in a "personal" league match I have against a friend. We are betting a fifth of Fireball here, so **** is for real.

His last player is Matt Forte.

I have Lesean McCoy, ZachErtz/Dwayne Allen, and Reggie Wayne yet to play.

BUT I want to know who you guys would go with between Zach Ertz and Dwayne Allen!!!!

EDIT:

By the way it was awesome to see the Panthers get a statement win out there! We didn't just win today, we put the kabosh on one of the best offenses the NFL has to offer. And boy what a great time to do so with the Saints, Falcons, Buccs, and Seahawks all losing!

The loser has to take the Fireball, right? So wretched.
