Most team pg situations are in 1 of 3 camps: a top tier or 1/3 pg, a useful vet on a cheap contract, or a precocious young player on rookie contract. Charlotte is kind of stuck and in none of those camps.

I may have missed on this one. Kemba's 2015-2016:

64.9 eFG% in C&S, 5th for all players > 200 FGA (Curry, Lowry, Redick, Hill).

Yeah i was really hoping for livingston. He had great court vision for a hs pg. Though I did think the trade to get okafor was a great move by bernie. All we had to do was swallow a contract iirc (jahidi white i think?)

Livingston was a key player on the clippers playoff run . He definitely was en route to becoming a premiere pg, though he wouldn't have fit as well in this era as he never had range. Still pretty impressive he was able to reinvent himself as a postup player. He had a really nice season in charlotte

Kemba's deal is looking like one of the better contracts in the league. We have him for three more seasons at 12 per.

I think everyone knew it was a good deal with the impending cap raise looming even if Kemba played like Bobcats era Kemba unless you were a Kemba basher just reach for bad things to say about him.

You know that while we are thrilled to have Bats back there is no one happier on this planet than Kemba that Bats is coming back.

Stephs contract is one more year thought then hes going to get a record breaking deal. We got Walker 3 more seasons for 12 mill each. Biz will probaby be making more than him next season.

If Steph stays with the Warriors and signs a 5 year deal at what I'm guessing will be a $110 million cap his deal will be worth over $191 million.

I mean, I'd rather have Steph on his deal and with his bird rights then Kemba on his. Just saying.

Well ya that goes without saying. But im talking individual contracts. Kemba is locked up 3 more years at 12 mill and hes 26 right now. He will be in his prime for those 3 years. If he was signing a deal today it would be around 20mill per season.

For once I think you might be underselling Kemba here. He's 3 years younger than a similar player that just signed the biggest contract in NBA history.

But only a 5th year pro which means he wouldn't be eligible for Conley's contract. Kemba would be capped around $22-23M the same as Bradley Beal.

True, and even that is more than $20M per. He'd easily get that IMO.

Celtics' preseason schedule includes game vs Hornets at Mohegan Sun. They've got guts taking on Kemba in Connecticut.

So the Internet, some crappy site called "Clutch Points", managed to spin the Kemba interview with Bonnell into this headline

"Kemba Walker isn’t pleased with the Hornets’ free agency losses"

All because he said it sucked that Lin and Jefferson left. LOL. I'd post a link, but a crap site like that doesnt deserve the hits.

They sent out a tweet that said "Kemba isn't happy."

Just awful click bait.

i think slick Rick knows how to get clicks by now...;-).... he did not put Big AL's name in the title, instead he put Lin for the clicks
Hi Clutchie, I love you... :kiss
