It was the most Indy was permitted to offer him. I suspect he gave them the hometown discount and had more lucrative opportunities elsewhere. I saw a lot of potential to have started Smith at the 4 and eventually Williams at the 5, a bit like the Cavs have done last year with Allen and Mobley

Bledsoe is a FA, if we're looking for a cheap veteran defensive combo guard. I'm not a fan of him offensively, but there's definitely a place for him here.

I don't think we are going to bring Kemba back. Will not good for the locker room, because Kemba was the leader here and now it's Lamelo team.
