I would easily. I want to start him next season and let Al go.

Call me crazy but I think he is finally progressing and could start next season.

How would you want your coaching staff to play him (out of curiosity)?

First big off the bench for you guys?

I think our point production would take a massive, massive hit and that he is still a liability on that end of the floor.

I think we could function very well with Biz starting at center with Big Al gone as long as we put a competent scoring SG or PF in the lineup.

Zeller can stretch the floor and Kemba can always feed Biz those lobs.

He's done that how many times over the years?

Once - tonight.

That's a pretty big if. We've been trying to find the perfect SG for 11 years now and haven't come close.

People bang on Al for clogging up the lane on offence? Surely Biz would clog it up 100 times worse. And Biz is a bigger black hole than even Al! When does Biz pass? Then there is that whole "sucks balls from the FT line" thing.

I love Biz, just like everyone else, but I don't think he's a starter next season on a serious team.

I have no problem with Big Al clogging the lane. I have a problem with him not setting legit screens for our guards, shooting in triple teams instead of passing, and not putting forth any effort on defense or the boards.

That pretty much sums up Big Al's scouting report.

If Cavs offer you their TPE and the Memphis 1st (reverse protected) for Bismack, does your FO accept?

No.

1. he is our only backup center
2. we didn't spend a 7th overall pick on a project and spend 3 yrs developing him into a very solid contributor just to cash out for a crappy 1st rd pick

That Memphis pick is reversed protected so by the time it's conveyed it might actually be pretty good. Just to be clear, you think your FO feels the same about Bismack?

Our spacing is better with Biz than Al. Biz is often at the top of the key setting a monster screen for a ball handler and rolling hard to the basket. This brings his man away from the basket and since his screens actually get our guards space it can force his man to help on the ball handler and now that he is actually catching the ball consistently his rolls to the basket actually draw some attention. Biz easily creates more spacing than Al perpetually camped on the left block calling for the ball or setting a pointless screen to make it look like he is doing something then casually rolling back to the block to call for the ball again. Al only creates space or draws attention when he has the ball and we all know how willing Al is to kick the ball to an open shooter. I seriously think our offense might improve with Biz starting even though he wouldn't do much scoring himself. Also take into account the amount of extra offensive possessions he creates with his tip outs/offensive rebounds and the extra transition opportunities we'd get from getting more defensive stops.

I could see him starting over Frye depending on the opponent. What we need is to beef up our low post defense. We might be able to get that in this upcoming draft, but I was just curious what the going rate and the feeling amongst your fan base about Biz was.

If our front office was willing to go after Mozgov if they struck out on Jefferson last season that tells you all they need to know about how they feel about Biyombo.

That they didn't think Biz was ready yet and they wanted to compete? I think you're reading into this way too much. That's like saying the Marvin Williams signing was a lack of confidence in Zeller, Vonleh, and MKG's future potential.
