I wouldn't mind getting Exum. Now that we've given up on MKG's shot, we need something to irrationally believe in. I think following Exum's perpetual injury rehab could do the trick.

I'd be interested in him as well - but then I saw he's due about $11 mil a year for 3 years and I quickly lost interest.

Would much rather have Frank Ntilikina than Exum...said it before but we should be seeking out underplayed and undervalued players.

The issue with Frank is that he didn't play well for the NY variant of the Spurs system. Seems like that might impact his odds of success here.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Can people please stop the narrative that Toronto won the championship without any lottery drafted players on their roster?

It’s such bullsh*t and spin doctoring at its absolute best.

It’s driving me nuts.

True, they traded 4 lottery picks and one future lottery pick to assemble their team. The future pick ended up being Steven Adams who was sent to OKC as part of the Harden trade (TOR used that to acquire Lowry). They also traded Ross to get Ibaka, Valanciunas to get Gasol, and DeDozan + Poeltl to get Kawhi.

The lesson to learn here is that you shouldn't be so attached to the players you draft that you're unwilling to move them for guys that will improve the team.

Exactly!!!!!

They might not have lottery players on their roster - because they used all their lottery players to trade for the players that are on their roster. It’s not like they didn’t use lottery players.

If anything the narrative should be: Toronto is crap at drafting because non of their lottery picks are still on their roster.

Bazemore to the Blazers for Turner is interesting for both teams.

Surprised Atlanta didn't get any picks back, at least a second rounder or two. Baze is a deece bench player. Evan Turner's about wash out of the league. Damn we should have traded Biz or MKG for Baze.

We can't do that because MJ doesn't want to add to the payroll.

Bazemore played the lowest minutes last year since he came to Atlanta. That's a bad sign for a team that really didn't have much talent at all. Better to get rid of him now before he makes a stink about it I'm guessing. Turner is probably a better guy to have in the background as a spot minute guy.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Isn’t a “Julius Randle with hops” a beast? Sounds like a compliment to me. He put up 21 and 9 a game this year.

At least the Warriors potentially imploding is good. Klay might go to the LAL or LAC if GS doesn't offer a full max.
