I don't think you can fault Mitch with this at all. Miles wasn't a bad character guy in college. These issues, unless I'm forgetting, literally started this year.

I think this is the classic case of a young athlete getting in with the wrong crowd and deciding they're something special, while in reality he just became a total idiot sack of *****.

I hope Melo and the other youngsters steer clear and use Miles as a lesson for themselves.

It's pretty damn embarrassing, no doubt about that. But I never like throwing people under the bus because of the actions of other people. I tell my kids all the time that they can't control what other people do, they can only control themselves. How they react to things, treat people, etc. that's their responsibility, no one else's. LaMelo didn't make Miles assault his wife, that's all on him.

After tossing his mouthpiece in Atlanta which hit a woman, now Miles was arrested for domestic violence. I now agree with the earlier assertion that Miles needs intervention. This is just downright horrible.

Just unbelievable. Totally unfathomable. We finally took one of our own and developed him into a near max type of player, but he's just an awful human being. A lot is made about how poorly run we are, some of which is definitely warranted. But this team is historically unlucky. I guess the only thing that could have somehow been more Hornets is if this had happened after signing the extension.

People blaming anyone EXCEPT for Miles have lost it. If I knew I was about to secure a nine figure contract, I'm wrapping myself in bubble wrap until I sign the dotted line. All he had to do was not beat someone up and he's set for life, but he couldn't do it. Don't think it's an overreaction to say that I hope he never plays in purple and teal again.

Only thing I'll say, and please don't interpret this as any sort of excuse or anything, I do like, hope he's okay mentally. He always seemed like a grounded dude and a hard worker.
