the thing about warren that makes him different from most rookies is he is ready to contribute immediately. green was fantastic last year when bledsoe was hurt. it would be a shame for him to be phased out of the rotation. tucker is their best wing defender and solid from corner 3s, so he makes sense in that lineup. perhaps marcus morris plays as a backup 4, with his brother getting more minutes at the 5.

agreed that ennis, zoran and goodwin arent in the rotation to start the year.

Wild guess:
Plumlee [24]/Other Morris [14]/Len [10]
Morris [30]/Tolliver [10]/Other Morris [6]
Green [16]/Warren [16]/Tucker [16]
Bledsoe [30]/Dragic [10]/Green [8]
Dragic [20]/Thomas [28]

Dragic, Bledsoe, Markieff play 30mpg, Thomas plays 28mpg, Green and Plumlee play 24mpg, Marcus Morris plays 20mpg, Warren and Tucker play 16mpg, Len and Tolliver play 10mpg. Phoenix still has tons of depth for when Len and Bledsoe miss time.

Then the Morrii play center more and Warren plays some more power forward, Green plays more small forward, and then Len's minutes go to Zoran Dragic or Tyler Ennis

Marcus shouldn't play any center, nor I can imagine Hornacek pulling off such a move.

I mixed up the twins. It's Markieff that plays about 1/3 of his minutes at C.

Looking at Gilwalker's depth chart, the minute allocation looks the most forced at small forward. I'd stay with my previous idea of saying that Green looks like the odd man out. And that's acknowledging that he was great for them last year. Warren can shoot and is cheap labor on his rookie deal and Tucker is someone who every team would love to have. A nice combination of hustle, defense and ability to be competent on offense despite his short-comings.

Agreed. Bledsoe plays like 50-60 games every season, so I think Warren racks up some DNPs early, then cracks the rotation once Bledsoe misses some time, and then we see Phoenix looking to move Green or Tucker.

I found it interesting that David Aldridge had Len in his list of 10 players on whom we should keep an eye on this season, meaning that they will be better than expected. The list supposedly was based on what he had heard from coaches, team executives, etc and seen himself.

Not to say that Aldridge's word means everything, but his columns are good and long reads and there has to be some reason for him to say so.

With the way the NBA transaction world has changed, I don't even know which player's contract would seem sexier for other teams in a trade.

The expiring Gerald Green deal (which don't get traded for at all any more) or 3 years of good value of PJ Tucker (a deal that contains two goodies - his salary gets smaller with every year and the third year is only partially guaranteed, a thing the juggernauts are always after for wanting to shed some salary off their caps)

Carlisle and Parsons already getting into it. Parsons put on 20 pounds of muscle, and Carlisle wants him to lose some or most of that weight. Parsons disagrees.

Lol. Sounds like a funny story.

Funny because just yesterday when they said they were holding him out the rest of the game it was "JUST PRECAUTIONARY". Lol

Dang. 2 months. Thats a big time blow.

And we all know its a matter of time before Nene gets injured. Wizards may struggle this season.

2 months is a long time to not have your 2nd best player and they already had bad guard depth

Of course it's Hairston

Seriously that sucks a lot for the Wizards. Pierce better be ready to go right from the start.
