just now catching the mccollum highlights. he looks absolutely legit. lots of steph curry in his game. not sure how he fits next to lillard though. would much rather see him as a pg than sg.

Portland has been drafting smart lately. If they decide to trade LMA and reload, their rebuild would be short-lived.

So Dyson is absolutely horrible on all fronts. Can't shoot, pass or defend. Idk why he's getting all the minutes over Triche.

Mclemore had a bad game in his first summer league game, but watching this kid shoot the rock and move on the court, you can tell he is legit, he will be a first team player unless he has a injury to slow him down, I'd probably put the rookie guard the Trailblazers picked up in there over Oladipo who I think will struggle playing the point this year.

Oladipo will not struggle to play the point this year, because he will be the Magic starting SG. They only played him at PG during SL to spruce up his ballhandling & playmaking skills, not to change his natural position

Dyson has looked OK and not "absolutely horrible on all fronts" at all. Triche looked alright today shooting-wise but he's not much of a PG and his 1 assist to 4 turnovers in about 15 minutes agree.

Otto Porter has been really struggling. I thought he would've been more NBA ready than he is.

Sims is extremely athletic, but he might be as raw as Biyombo is.

Thomas Robinson continues to disappoint. I know it's just summer league, but the Bobcats truly were fortunate to take MKG instead

Schröder looks so good. Atlanta got such a steal.

I would take Schröder over Burke or MCW any day of the week. Philly should have taken him at 11, what do they have to lose?

Drummond looks incredible though. I really hope MKG can get to his level.

Drummond will for sure get the max when his contract is up, though. Wondering if Pistons can pay.

I'm serious, Dennis Schröder will be the next Rajon Rondo/Ricky Rubio. He just took the ball out of the opposing PG's hands when the PG was running up the court while Schröder was backpedaling and had an easy layin.

I think he's my new non-Charlotte NBA player crush.

Shroeder definitely has been impressive, and he has so much more upside

As far as Drummond, blame Cho's devotion to the Biyombo project. A lot of us wanted Drummond, but understood why MKG was the safe choice in fear of public perception if he didn't pan out

I was wrong on Drummond, ill admit. He just acted so uninterested In interview and workouts and said he wanted to be like Durant.

I think he still wouldn't have been picked at 2 if we didn't have Biz because 7 other teams passed on him as well.

Since the top ten teams get a first round bye in the tournament, I wouldn't mind sliding to 1-2 tonight since it could mean us getting another game in the tournament.

Also, apparently if a game goes to double overtime it's sudden death

Schroder looks really good. I think the Hawks are gonna regret that big contract they just gave Teague.
Nogueira also looks a lot better than I expected.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
