Re: Around the NBA 5.0
terrible offense from nets + awful officiating in favor of heat + heat making tough shots = 14-3 run to end a game.

Just skip to who you want out of the Spurs-Thunder-Clippers to beat them in the Finals. You're going to be very disappointed if you're expecting the Pacers to do anything with the Heat

and i a torn on who i think has the best chance of beating the heat out of that bunch, which is why i am so conflicted watching that thunder clippers series. although, after last night i want the thunder to win, just for the LOLs at the clippers and paul in particular, who i despise.

i think the Clippers have the better shot honestly, they are bigger and deeper than OKC

R.I.P. City.
I don't think being bigger necessarily helps to beat the Heat, the key is having a big comfortable guarding Bosh on the perimeter. I think OKC is a better match up.

Griffin could probably do that at a decent level, but you're right, I'd rather see OKC take them down. My main concern with LAC is the big glaring question: who the hell guards Lebron??? Matt Barnes might foul out 20 minutes into every game of the series if it's him. Then who is there? Granger? Dudley? Blake Griffin? Deandre Jordan? Chris Paul? Literally everyone else on the team is a defensive liability.
investigate Adam Silver

Re: Around the NBA 5.0
The Thunder got the talent to beat the Heat but they are just too dumb with a even dumber coach. The Spurs got the best chance because they can defend, shoot, and execute offensively the right way.
They will wage war against the Lamb but the Lamb will triumph them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings - and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers." Revelation 17:14 (NIV)

Exactly. They'd have to play some healthy contain defense and hope LBJ's shots don't fall or hope Jordan can stop him at the rim enough to do the job. The problem is the Heat would have Bosh in there drawing Jordan away from the rim, Blake as well and Blake isn't as good a weakside defender.
OKC can throw Thabo, Caron, Durant at LBJ, maybe even PJIII. Plus, they have bigs that move their feet really well in Ibaka and Adams. The biggest thing is who the hell does Miami have that can stop Westbrook? Chalmers, Cole and Wade? LOLOLOLOLOL

With Steve Kerr leaving Phil Jackson hanging, I have a feeling that Derek Fisher will be the next Jackson puppet that he'll try to make head coach under his guidance with the Knicks

Darkhorse candidate: Jim Cleamons. PJ always wrote glowingly of him and considers him one of the best Triangle disciples.
