Fwiw I don't think Plumlee has been totally crap this year, on the contrary I think he'd be a very solid bench big for a good team, we just have way too much youth at that spot that needs development time.

Agree 100%. It's tough but we just need to open up those minutes at this point.

I thought Williams seemed just as productive as Richards in summer league and preseason. Translating that to regular season is another story, but he showed enough that I'd like to see him get some minutes. I would definitely like to see them trade Plumlee to open up minutes for younger players.

Is he actually going to get time? Is Plumlee or Richards getting benched? Unlikely

My favorite part of that was after he tapped it in with 7 seconds to go. He showed emotion, he cared. He didn't treat it like a go down there screw around and jack up shots.

Hell yeah. He's dope. High character guy, can't wait for him to pass Cliff's tests and get in there!

McGowens had 32 in this game as well. I think he has pretty big potential. Every time he's played for the Hornets this year he's looked good. He played well against the Grizzlies and then sadly didn't get any burn against the Nets. He's better than Bouknight for sure. Like Mark, just needs to add to his frame.

With Williams it’s just a matter of time, strength development and experience. He may never have Embid level power but added muscle will help his hops and lower body anchor. Really good fundamentals and hands. Would love to see him as our starter in a year or two, with Richards backing him up.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

We are 3-10. Makes no sense not to just give him the Plumlee minutes, to see what we have. Are we really losing more games if we play Williams instead of frickin Plumlee? Like what, would we be 2-11 instead? Big deal. Hopefully this thickheaded team changes things soon

Nice performance and Silva, while not Embiid, is nothing to sneeze at in terms of getting reps against a decent-enough frontcourt player.

Williams length will make him unstoppable if he puts on weight like Nick and starts bulldozing people going up for dunks. Just sucks he is a year or two away from that when we so clearly need him right now

His upside is Whiteside, but not crazy, or he really gets going and turns into Gobert-lite.

Both are very good for us.

Whiteside with a better head on his shoulders is a good player. I don't think he'll get as strong as Whiteside, but hes longer and I think a bit more mobile, which is better imo.

So epic. Seems that he's really thriving in Greensboro. Love to see it and hope the runway will be cleared for him by the trade deadline at the latest.

It's just pure Insanity at this point to have basically half of our team with sprained ankles only 15 games into the season.
