Nah, you just picked the wrong game to reappear and start Biz trolling, should've waited one more game.

Didn't watch the game and looking at the boxscore he clearly had a dominant performance on the boards.

He's been prolly their biggest difference maker all 3 games. No trolling at all on this matter. If Biz didn't score those few points in the 4th you would've said something about him not scoring but he was by far their most impactful player before he even made a field goal in the 2nd half.

Like I said, didn't watch the game, but his 3 point 5 board performance in a 20 point beat down last game is the stuff that, had it happened to us with Cody, would have had people saying we need someone like Biz.

He had a career maker type of performance tonight and probably bumped his contract this summer out an extra digit, so good for him.

this is how I feel, I haven't got the energy to get into the "Charlotte front office sux, why let him go??!?!?!" arguments.

they made decisions and we improved, it wasnt perfect but there arent many teams that are

I would honestly rather have someone like Vogul and Biz, rather than Cliff. YMMV.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Article in Iceland Magazine on JLin going to the home of a 14yr old Icelandic fan.

http://icelandmag.visir.is/article/video-14-year-old-icelander-plays-one-one-basketball-game-his-back-yard-nba-star-jeremy-lin

Global fanbase (not just in Asia) means Jeremy gets recognize even when his family picks a sparsely populated remote location to go on vacation. But he's a nice guy and good sport about it, and accepts the invitation from the kid's mother to go to their home. I guess the fact that he's great with global fans is one reason you have fans like that French girl in Paris who would rather follow JLin than Batum, despite the shared French background.

No use crying over spilt milk. The question now is what happens going forward? Who is next on the totem pole that gets moved up if Silas is gone? And will the scenario repeat itself if Ewing stays?

Someone is gonna pay 15-18MM for Biyombo, even if he sucks the rest of the playoffs. While he may suck on offense, he'll have a place in the league for the next 8 years as least.

Biz lead the playoffs in screen assist which is points created off his screens. That is his offense and also include his offensive rebounding ability.

I'm happy to see Biz crushing it like this, always seemed like a cool guy. He'll get a big raise when he hits FA and I won't be shocked if he's worth every penny.

So Portland is now in pursuit of Silas as well. With so many people leaving, the Hornets will look like a different team next season.

I feel like defending letting Biz walk is simply shilling for Cliff and the front office at this point. It was obviously a bad move from the second we declined his option.

Same, Im comfortable with Cliff but dont think he is elite (yet at least). A big part of the perception of him being such a good coach is the narrative that we overachieved for our talent level, but i think that is largely driven by his terrible coaching last season tanking the perceived level of talent of our players. I dont think we overacheived this year, but it could easily seem that way to someone on the outside looking in because of how badly we underachieved the previous season (which i still mostly blame on Cliff).

Tidbits for consideration...Biz had a very good Game 3. He also had a miserable Game 1 and Game 2. For the series he has a net rating of -8.2. For Games 1 and 2 he had a net rating of -22.2.

Believe it or not, for the series TOR's DRB% is actually higher when Biz is off the floor than when he is on it (and that's without JVal).

Biz had a good game last game, but he's had a poor series.
