I would only accept contributing members. What's your resume?

Hmm... I have a Geography degree. That might come in handy when making supply runs. I can map out some primo routes. No need for a GPS unit or maps on a phone. I'll never get us lost. I'm pretty fast for an old man. Pretty sure I can outrun some slow zombies. I like to stay up all night, perfect for a night watchman while others are sleeping. But mostly, just having such an awesome personality around will be great for morale.

Oh yeah, and lists. I am the king of making lists. So, that means organization.

Recap
1. Maps (GPS downloaded to my brain)
2. Fast
3. Vampire
4. Funny
5. Lists

Any fighting ability or are you more of a Eugene that we'll have to take care of? What about wilderness food aversions? Inquiring minds.

Land nav abilities are always a plus though. As are the organizational skills. I think you're worth an in-the-field tryout

I'm definitely more handy than Eugene when it comes to fighting. I'd like to think that given the need to survive, I could at least be as handy as Karl or Glenn. But I'll never be a Darrell.

Anyone doing draftkings/fanduel NBA this year? Maybe we can talk about it and help eachother win money haha.

I'm having great fun in NFL, started this season and took me a while but was in the green last week and appear to be this week on the backs of Mike Evans, Doug Martin and Lamar Miller.

I've talked to a few people that win massive money over the season (thousands of dollars) for NBA, but I've never done it before. Any tips or tricks?

I'm doing it this year for the first time as well.

Haralabob said on the Le Batard Show that the majority of the winners over at Draft Kings are sharks. They use their algorithms, enter a 100 contests at once and out-play the regular Joes for real money.

There are quiet a few of roster optimizers online that do the algorithms for you. I've won a decent amount of money just entering a few contest a week.

For NBA on fanduel, last year I used a combination of sites
http://www.rotowire.com/daily/nba/optimizer.htm
http://fantasyteamadvice.com/forums/forum/57-dfs-today/
http://www.dfsbookmark.com/

Plus I followed a handful of people on twitter. But mostly for NBA I just used my knowledge to pick lineups and used rotoworld for up-to-date injury info.

For football, I have a subscription to footballguys.com and they have an excellent daily fantasy resource, which I don't really use, I just wing it.

I only play the $1, single entry leagues though, just for fun. Not really trying to make money on it, just want to have some rooting interests in random games. I never play the multi-entry tournaments because those things are swimming with sharks. That is where you will see people with a ton of bank playing 100 different lineups each night. Its not fun playing against someone who has mathematically covered just about every possible outcome.

From what I understand (again I only play the $1 single entry tournaments) the best way to make steady money is to enter the 50/50 leagues. There you just have to beat half the field and its all or nothing. If you finish in the top half 60-70% of the time on average, then you can keep some steady money coming in while you also throw a few bucks at the tournaments each night hoping for a big win.

Fats pretty well summed it up, although I mainly play the multipliers.

I have 200 points in my 50/50 $50 dollar double up on draftkings with Larry Fitzgerald yet to go :( Wish I played that lineup in tournaments, however a 100 dollar win is nice.

I'll examine everything tonight and tell you guys my lineup for tuesday NBA. its not like we are playing against eachother, so might as well help eachother make money.

phpbb is archaic board software that was probably never meant to handle such load, which is the main problem.

Let me know your lineup. I'm going to make one tomorrow or tonight. Probably just do a 5$ head to head on a nightly basis.

I'm gonna make a daily fantasy thread that we can use all year.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
