Slam and I have been pretty hard on Kemba over the years. But I am happy to admit when proven wrong about one of our players.

Yup, like Fats said (and I said last month) I've been more than happy to have been wrong about Kemba.

I always liked him, he's just such a likeable kid, but thought his shooting and decision making was holding us back.

I'm thrilled for Kemba (and us!!) and hope he can keep it up.

And a huge kudos to Cho for getting Bats here and then to stay here. He's been massive for Kemba's development.

I'll be voting everyday. We should all go the same. Only way to get this team nationally recognized is having one of our players in the all star game. Of course winning also but you need to be top 1 or 2 seed in your conference for the rest of the world to notice your team. No one gives a sh*t about the 3 seed in the eastern conference.

I want him to force the issue a little more. We only go as Kemba go and I'm beginning to see a trend with these close games and losses where Kemba try to play within the flow and don't impose his will on defenses like he did earlier in the season.

Maybe, but he was 6-17 tonight, and felt like every time he tried to make something happen he got blocked at the rim or turned it over. He had a rough game tonight.

November Kemba slowly starting to fade into the background. Kemba has been good, not great, in December. Good will not get him to the ASG this year vs the likes of Lowry, Kyrie, Thomas and Wall. He needs to be great, while we are winning.

Read on Twitter

If he's breaking franchise records, I think he should definitely get some attention for the ASG.

^To be fair, it's rather pathetic that in the history of the franchise Walker has the lead in 25/10 (points/assist) games with 5.

To put that into context, here is how we compare vs the other expansion teams from late 80s/90s.

Hornets have 25 total games in franchise history of 25 points and 10 assists in the same game - Kemba leads with 5.

Heat have 108 similar games. Even Sherman Douglas has more (8) than any Hornet and he was barely average. Lebron Wade, Tim Hardaway blow Hornets away.

Pelicans have 80. Paul, Baron with more, Evans same.

Magic have 65 similar games. Skiles, McGrady, Hardaway, Armstrong, Francis.

Wolves have 51 similar games. Michael Williams (seriously he has 5!?!?), Pooh Richardson (LOL), Marbury, Garnett, Cassell all with more. Surprised to see Brandon only with 4 (damn injuries).

Raptors have 46 similar games. Lowry and Stoudamire with more.

Yay, we beat the Grizzlies, 25 to 24. Mike Bibby has more, Jason Williams with same. Shocked that Conley with only 3.

I remember Michael Williams from my box score watching days, that and magazine articles was pretty much all we had, he always seemed to put up solid stats.

HEY, HEY, HEY! First off, it's "Micheal" Williams. For some reason, he has the "e" before the "a" in his name just like Micheal Ray Richardson.

Second off, Pooh Richardson was solid. I kind of put them in the same category (which is obviously easy given the fact that they were traded for each other and both were a starting point guard at Indiana). Probably among the worst 10 starting point guards when they were starting for the Pacers, however, capable enough that they could reach the status of a starter by being decent second/third options on bad teams and putting up good stats.

I wish Kemba got the calls Micheal Williams got.

Strange Kemba wrinkle lately - his FTAs are way down from earlier in the year. He had 11 FTA in late November. In the 16 games since he has only taken more than 4 twice (both times 6).

Attempts down from 5.4/game in November to 3.0/game in December.

Not getting nearly as much love from the refs this past month.
