indo?

Linsanity was the only time NBA was fun after MJ era, even my frens who had stop watching NBA for some times were following him.

now boring again zzzzz..... the lack of talent these days force NBA to manufacture superstar (harden ...) in the end lots of ppl get the impression the NBA is just another WWE.

Yes, Indo but i'm more proud as a Dayak, lol.
I watched Linsanity, almost every game of it and I agree it was fun. But if you said that was the only fun thing after MJ era then i beg to differ. Didn't you watch the Twin Towers, the Spurs Big Three, Shaq-Kobe duo, Lebron era? That was a hell of fun to watch.

And also now Steph Curry and the Warriors. I know I'm biased but you gotta admit, it's a hell of a good team filled with talent.

Ah i forgot that one. Yeah, i have to admit that. It's not just about the talent but also the coaching staff and the system. But i still don't like Green and Bogut. I know Green is a very good all around player but still i find it hard to like him

I love both those guys but I totally understand non Warriors fans hating them. Especially Green, the guy's an **** on the court and a goof off it. You seen his tweets from back in the day bashing Lebron and being a total Kobe dickrider? Hilarious. But you're right it's also the coaching and system that makes the team exciting and fun. There has definitely been fun times since MJ besides Linsanity. Even before the current era with Curry as a Warriors fan, that one year when we (8th seed) swept the Mavs in the first round, the "we believe" year was fun. Alright, back to the Hornets breaking the losing streak.

pretty crazy statistic
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/position/pg/league/east

hornets have 2 top 10 pgs in the east. Kemba is 4th best pg in the east according to PER, and JLin is currently 12th rank(maybe 11th, since aaron brooks of chicago doesn't play enough mins which skews his stats)

hornets also have 4th best SG in the east with jeremy lamb and 5th best SG in the league with Batum. Our centers big Al and cody zeller are 11th and 15th best respectively in the east.

With this level of talent, we should be steamrolling the east

looking at the names on the list, it seems pretty accurate to me. Maybe a few id rearrange, but what do I know? I think the per seems to have pretty good linear correlation with real world performance, obviously not 100% correlation, but definitely not below 75%

The fact that Lamb is ranked higher than Batum completely invalidates whatever stats were used to come up with the rankings.

i don't know what happened to Lin...suddenly he does not know how to run RnRs.... his assist number is the worst of his career... he has enough touches, just not creating...

He is not a PG on this team thats why and when he does create they usually miss.

no matter if you are a PG or not, when the ball is in your hands enough time, good playmakers make plays... that was lin's strength, now most of time he is a disappearing act...

He really seems to be struggling to beat his man off the dribble lately. Not sure what that is about.

he was brilliant in the Clippers game, opponents had to foul him to contain him... he was fine...he is so passive in tonight's game, and it happened from time to time... still the inconsistent lin... I guess that's who he really is... I am about to give up my hope... :banghead: :banghead:

Offensively, Lin is pretty useless when he's not the one running the offense. Defensively, he's pretty much the only player out there who understands a thing or two about defense.

agreed, tonight he sucked on the offensive end, couldn't buy a bucket. Hes been sucking the entire month actually,he was awful in whole month of november. Awesome in December, until the game with the lakers when he injured his ankle. Now hes been sucking hard since then, shooting wise for most of january. 41% FG is a joke for him, and 29% from the 3 lol, absolutely terrible. Seeing how terribly lin was doing offensively, most coaches would bench the player. Unfortunately, lamb was injured and not able to play, and the bigger issue which was the defense, crumbled whenever lin sat on the bench.

I think the ankle and foot injuries are slowing him down. It would affect his shot also. Oddly his D has still been pretty good.

Lin played for about 30 min this game. and for the most of those 30 all he did was stay in the damn corner. dont know if it is what cliff wants but he is wasted doing that in this team.
