Miller now shooting 38% from three on the season. Regardless of the slump, heater he is shooting the ball just fine from three.

I've never prayed for anyone to play poorly to win an argument and if there's anyone with the right to judge what justifies that, it's not the guy who digs up old posts from people and uses "live a little" as his justification to mods.

Non-stop negativity does not breed positive interactions.

Actually read what people say for a change.

If someone could do Millers stats in games he's playing alongside Melo vs when he's not id appreciate it. I'd do it myself but I'm just lazy right now. I know the usage is way higher but genuinely curious.

He's averaging 19.9ppg on 55.2 TS% with LaMelo (14 games) on an already super high 9.9 3PA per game.

He's averaging 28ppg on 52.6 TS% without LaMelo (just 4 games this season) while jacking an insane 14.5 3PA per game

Heading into their matchup with the Cavaliers, Miller produced at least 20 points in nine straight games, marking the longest span of his career. He’s also drained a 3-pointer in 31 straight games and nailed multiple 3-pointers in 11 straight games, each representing career bests.

Over his last 10 contests, he averaged 26.7 points per game and five made 3-pointers while shooting 40.3 percent from beyond the arc, joining Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards as the only players to meet those thresholds.

Slow start to the season, but he's slowly having a solid season. I was worried early but he's back!

Still would love to see him not settle for 3's as much.

He’s always reminded me of a 6’9 Bucks Ray Allen so not that different. Positionally lanky and weird mix of fluid and stiff movement depending on what he’s being asked to do , solid passer, sneaky underrated hops, stiff non dynamic handles. Obviously the shooting. In his on-ball era rn but may or may not be his long term role

When most people do player comps they look at who the player is right now and then compare them to the prime version of the player.

Prime Klay was in his 6th season at age 26.
34 mpg, 22.3 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.1 apg 0.8 spg, 0.5 bpg

Current Brandon Miller is in his 2nd season at age 22.
34 mpg, 21.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 0.7 bpg

We can love Klay Thompson, but that feels like we are selling Brandon short.

The way he settle for 3's I'm thinking Ray Allen/Klay Thompson comps feel about right.

I was thinking with improved ball handling he could become a PG clone. He doesn't have that in his game so far so those Allen/Klay comps fit as of now.

Ladies and Gentlemen he's back.

I wish he would attack the paint more. He had that filthy dunk late in the 4th. He has the ability just needs to attack more instead of settling for 3's.

Just talking about his jumper, Brandon kind of looks like CJ Miles. Same smooth, compact form with the same release point. (Only CJ's left-handed.)

Brandon Miller has risen to 75th in
@ringernba
Top 100 rankings. That represents a 20 spot rise from the end of last seasons.

LaMelo Ball remains 27th

FFS. Beyond ridiculous. Best I can tell online, this means serious recovery time. Just sucks the joy out of the game - what's the point of all the return to play protocols and load management if it does nothing to stem the tide. Frustrated.

Our entire young core has now had serious season-altering injuries in their first or second year. I don’t believe in curses but I can’t find any other explanation

Sit him out for the year. No need to rush him back we aren't playing for anything.

This opens up more shots for Mark. Will be interesting to see how he develops on offense for the rest of the season.

Flagg and Harper here we come!

It's a golden opportunity for Nick Smith Jr. First Tre Mann. Now Miller.
