If the Hornets win the lottery its only fair that we give full credit to Charles Lee and his good vibes for making it happen.

How are they supposed to know the lottery isn’t rigged? All it takes is the one pre-treated ping pong ball which is undetectable to common inspection or observation :-?

I think we'll stop at 3 and just miss out on the clear top ranked players, such a Hornets thing to happen

Let’s all embrace the feeling! Watch this old video of The Beach Boys GOOD VIBRATIONS! It opens with a lovely lady dribbling a basketball!

If we do land the number 1 pick, I cant wait to see the joy on this board. It would be beautiful to see. We would suddenly become a relevant team with the addition of Flagg.

I like what Doug had to say on the podcast today. if probability holds true in the Hornets fall out of the top one or two picks, The owners and the front office can't use that as an excuse to have another season of doing absolutely nothing and waiting for better luck next year. You have to do something. You have to make your own luck. You can't play victim. If you don't get the number one or 2 pick you have to make a move this summer get better. I'm not sure this fan base can endure another sub 20 win season with half the roster on the injured list for the last 40 games.

Part of me wishes this front office would trade next year's pick and make it unprotected so they had absolutely no excuses to not to try to win.

They get a pass for last season being their first year and the situation with their pick obligation, but there is no reason to hold back anymore. All the tearing down part has been done. They have plenty of assets and a few really talented players. Even if they get literally the 7th pick the plan should be to drastically increase their ability to win basketball games next season.

Disagree personally, I’ve watched this team be awful for 20+ years now. Yes players like LaMelo and Brandon are better than what we’ve had to look forward to in most seasons, but I’ve still seen absolutely nothing to think you can build a contender around either of these two. I’d rather just keep waiting for a real difference maker. Maybe it comes tonight.

The Spurs and Pelicans are those two teams for me. How many franchise altering talents can they get?

With the Mavericks I could at least talk myself into their fans deserving, as they’ve done nothing wrong. If the Spurs get it I’m out. Done with the sport. I still love the college game and will get my hoops fix there. At that point they’re not just some tremendously well run organization, they’re just tremendously lucky.

That’s excellent news for Johnson.

Really good measurements for Flagg, Harper, Edgecombe, Johnson, and even Fears. My guesses were underestimating a few guys by like a half inch. Baileys measurements were disappointing, but still good in the grand scheme of things (8'11" standing reach is still good for a forward). Knueppels measurements were kinda bad.

Thats enough length to hit the lower end of true center range. I still don't like him because of effort/conditioning though.
