Westbrook was 10-for-31 shooting tonight. They will blame him if they lose this series, and he may force his way out to his hometown of Los Angeles

Take way more than a top 5 pick to get a top 4 PG in the league and the most athletic PG in the history of the league.

Not when that top-5 pick might be the much hyped Andrew Wiggins, or maybe even Dante Exum

Even then Durant will bolt unless they make an immediate impact, which they wont. Neither one of them will more than likely ever be as good as Westbrook is right now. Westbrook and Durant could be deadly together, but Westbrook has a "I want to kill you to win" mentality that Durant doesn't.

Durant will leave in 2016 regardless if this is all he has to look forward to. If they don't trade Westbrook (which I wouldn't do, but it could be helpful) or fire Brooks (strongly recommended) they will fail until he bolt to the Lakers anyway

Firing Brooks is the best move. How in the hell they are down with Westbrook, Durant, a rim protector in Ibaka with players like Jackson coming off the bench is astonishing,.

Brooks just roll the ball out on the floor and let them play. They have no strategy, no offensive gameplan but high pick-and-roll for whomever out of Durant or Westbrook that bring the ball past halfcourt, and no defensive gameplan but to gamble on steals whereas if your man get past you Ibaka will protect the rim

Still going with my pre season pick with Houston to win it all.

thank god.

They actually have some decent defenders on the Lakers. I'd like to see a coach that actually utilizes some of those guys like Wesley Johnson and Kent Bazemore on defense. Those guys have always interested me for some reason.

What in the world are the Pacers going to do with Hibbert this off season. I mean, they have to trade him, right?

Hibbert for Asik?

I couldn't see that, Houston has Dwight and having a bench player making the max is horrible

I would not be shocked at all if the Lakers try and come after Clifford. They may not be serious about getting him, but if his name is somehow mentioned like Thibodeaus name is already mentioned I wouldn't be shocked.

Don't worry about it. They didn't want to give him an opportunity and they blew their chance. Clifford wouldn't even call them back.

Clifford isn't going anywhere, hes under contract. Only way I believe Lakers could get him is if they offered picks and stuff like that, and the only thing they have to offer is their top 6 pick in this years draft. Even then I would say hell to the freaking no. Can't have Kemba going on his 15th different coach since he entered the league.

I dont even think Cliff would entertain it anyway, they had their chance to get him

I don't think anyone needs to entertain that job. Under horrid ownership right now. I can almost guarantee you they win the lottery though. The NBA needs the Lakers to be good.

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but I told my friend before this season started that they would bench Kobe the whole year over a BS injury or maybe even fake it to get into the lottery where they would get the 1st or 2nd pick and grab wiggins or Parker. Would be funny if I'm right.

If they don't win it I can see them jumping into the top 3 where the difference between Wiggins, Parker, and even an Exum or Embiid really isn't that significant.
