It would be a shame if Durant left. Not saying it would be bad on his part, but it would suck for the fans to see Durant and Westbrook split up. I like having a super elite team in a small market like OKC. I think he will probably end up signing a Lebron'esque 1+1 deal and go for at least one more run with Westbrook.

he will probably either sign a 1+1 or leave.

its too risky to sign a long term deal with WB and Ibaka free agents next season.

For me, neither Durant or Westbrook are winners. Maybe fatigue was a factor but RWB failed to organize the team when needed to close out games. He couldn't make consistent big plays either, whether shots or defensive plays or passes. Durant couldn't take the team on his back and bring them home either. Guys can have great athleticism and skills, and stats, and not be winners. And I don't think these guys are there yet. On OKC, I think Adams has the winning stuff with guys that can get him the ball better.

Curry is absolutely clutch and Thompson is excellent as well. Curry's not close to 100 percent and still GSW takes 3 in a row, and one on the road.

GSWs are a great team. Honestly amazed that they won though. Thunder were amazing in the post-season. I don't think that any other team outside of GS could have taken them out ... especially down 1-3.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I'm officially in the "get rid of the 3pt line" camp. Or if you foul a 3pt shooter it's only worth 2 free throws. Or at least allow defenders to have incidental contact with a shooter if the ball has left his hands and get rid of that "pump fake, jump sideways into defender to draw foul" malarkey.

Clearly you could never have a rule of fouling a 3pt shot resulting in only 2 free throws. You would never have a game winning 3pt shot in that case. Every team would simply maul the shooter when leading by 3.

I am 100% in favor of the league changing the officiating to not reward shooters who seek out contact for their shots (Batum and Kemba included). However this change should apply all over the floor, not just 3pt line.

I'm fine with that. If it's obvious they can call it intentional or something.

They made baby steps with the "kick out" rule and the "rip through" rule.

Would be nice to se it expanded though.

I think the league really need to look at what should be considered continuation as well. So tired of seeing guys fouled 30 feet from the basket and then shoot in the same motion as if it is a shooting foul.

The Hawks, as expected, are going to make a hard push for Kevin Durant. (Atlanta Journal)

Predictions for the finals?

I think the Cavs are the team to beat. Cavs in 6.

Rooting for the Warriors, obviously.

Rumored trade discussion: Atlanta trades Teague to Philly for Noel. Makes a lot of sense for both teams.

Teague/Ish
???/Stauskas
???/Covington
Simmons/Saric
Okafor/Embiid

they've got 8 players for a solid 10 man rotation and enough money to fill at least a couple of those holes this summer, if they choose.

does that mean Horford is gone? or does he move to PF finally.

Denis
Korver
Milsap
Horford
Noel

thats really good.

76ers could be a good team too, Teague would help a lot and Simmons will probably be a day 1 star.

wouldn't be surprised at all if every east team (besides the nets maybe) win 32+ games next season.

Simmons isn't going to be nearly as good as some think.

I'm beginning to find myself cheering for Lebron. So sick of hearing about Curry.

They have picks #24 and #26. Could snap up some talent there.

Teague/Ish
Beasley/Stauskas
Prince/Covington
Simmons/Saric
Okafor/Embiid

They should still look to trade Okafor IMO and build around Teague, Simmons and Embiid.

i thought Schroeder was their man crush.

I could really see a trade between the 2 teams though

I'm rooting for the Warriors to sweep the Cavs simply b/c of three pointers so that LeBron whines to the commissioner so much that they do something about that dumb line. About the only good that could come of this series. Either way, I'm going to be sick of hearing how awesome Curry/LeBron is in about 5 minutes.
