Underrated plot point: we had the 13th and 15th picks in that draft, and turned it into NSJ and very late picks
This is why we are what we are, Pacers Grizzlies Heat don't do this ****

Dear god... They traded #13 for NSJr and 2nds and trade Mark for #29 and future pick in the 20s lmao. Insane when you look at it like that.

Hornets are GOATs of somehow getting worse on draft night
For a team that refuses to do anything other than tank for draft picks, you'd think they'd figure it out eventually

Sold low on Mark, drafted nipple, this is literally ticking every check box on a list for worst possible offseason
Just need a Miles allegation/arrest, Miller footage with a new hitched jump shot, and Melo scrimmage clips with no ankle braces and I’ll hit a bingo

Way off topic but I still think NSJ can be a solid role player.

Completely pathetic return. Agree with others…I absolutely HATE this front office, HATE Jeffie Peterson and little Charlie Lee. I guess some teams are just destined to be garbage.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Yea that wasn’t exactly a Mitch bright spot on that one.

I mean this tells us we are still fully committed to tanking next season, right?
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Seriously I think Peterson has surpassed Kupchak now. He is actually even worse. In way over his head and turning us into garbage.

So is Nick now third string on the suns out of nowhere?

I can’t wait to tell myself how “this is finally the year, surely we’re due” on lottery night next year after we have the second best odds after a 20-62 season only for the Spurs to go from 13th to 1st

We should complete the fun times by trading one of the 2nd round picks for him.

I’d take him as our third center. Moose is making his mark this season

Phoenix has to have been ridiculously weary of Marks body. Drafting Maluach then trading for Mark is wild.

Re: Return to Sender: The Mark Williams Thread
Just realized with Mark gone for essentially nothing, our 2021 and 2022 drafts were compelte **** waste. That's crazy and very difficult for a perennial lottery team to recover from.
Unless ofc one of those late lotto picks we picked up turns out to be our Giannis.

Back to back years with a lottery pick and another mid 1st and completely lit both drafts on fire. And it was the two drafts immediately after they drafted LaMelo.

Re: Return to Sender: The Mark Williams Thread
I mean are they going to dump Mark and draft his replacement in the late 20s? Just mind boggling what are they doing
