What does that have to do with Lance?

Lance's favorite thing is blowing in LeBrons ear

I would really get a kick out of it if the Charlotte Hornets take the baton from the Pacers as the team fans lean on in hopes of denying Lebron opportunities for more championships.

I still think we're just one player away. I'm already hoping our interest in Afflalo remains and that we sign him as a free agent in 2015 when he opts out in Denver. I am hoping the Nuggets miss the playoffs.

We need a go to perimeter scorer that isn't a PG that shoots 40%

Another possibility is I hope the Nuggets start 0-20 or just so terribly that they fire sale well in advance of the trade deadline and we grab Afflalo in time for a playoff run, the same way the Wizards traded their pick (ended up Tyler Ennis) for Marcin Gortat. I would be willing to part with a 1st for Afflalo and Neal to make the money work.

I think Lance + Kemba could surprise early in the playoffs.

Good luck with all of his antics. I hated having him on the Pacers and I'm so glad you guys signed him before we could.

Well your team gave us all hope. Your model is one I hope to emulate because you guys (along with the Spurs) proved you can be elite without kissing ass or offering beaches and bikini babes to superstars.

I'm not looking forward to his flops that lead to 'Extended Stay America' reservations on the floor as everyone else around him continue to play, and I don't have high expectations of him being about a 20 points per game scorer, but I'm happy to have him on our team, because a lot of the skill sets & attributes that he possess in his game are exactly what we've been missing for the last few years at the shooting guard position

His deal just sort of screams "Get me out of Indy" to me

You all will be worse without him. Don't come on our board and give us backhanded compliments just because your team collapsed.

Zach Lowe has written his take on this:
http://grantland.com/the-triangle/lance ... conference

haven't read it yet.

Nothing, just used to hate Cavs fans when Lebron was there and it's starting to get rekindled. I can't wait to go head to head with them, the Wizards, and Raptors. I'm sick of hearing about how great all of those teams are.

Skimmed it. It talks more about how Indiana will cope without him than anything else.

Here's what I found interesting, but not all that surprising. Stephenson made the Pacers around him better, even he does dribble too much or turn the ball over trying too hard to make something out of nothing.

Zach Lowe wrote:He stood as Indiana’s only game-to-game jolt of creativity. They ran more with Stephenson on the court. They generated more shots within the restricted area, and though the Pacers shot fewer 3s with Stephenson playing, they nailed those shots at a much higher rate — especially from the corners. Indy shot 45.5 percent on corner 3s with Stephenson on the floor, and just 33.6 percent when he sat, per NBA.com. Corner 3s work only when someone creates them by penetrating the defense and drawing help.

Indiana overall scored 102.9 points per 100 possessions with Stephenson on the floor, and a dreadful 98.3 when he sat. George’s split was similar, but George’s field goal percentage cratered from 44.4 percent with Stephenson alongside him to 38.6 percent when Stephenson left to go chat with Larry Legend.

Also, in regards to Stephenson's antics, we may have a perfect situation for him to thrive:

Zach Lowe wrote:Several of last season’s Hornets called it the best locker room in which they had ever lived and played, and Marvin Williams, signed to replace Josh McRoberts, has become known as one of the league’s great character guys.

The only thing I disagreed with in that article was that he called Biyombo a bust. That's flat out not true.

For being a #7 overall pick, I wouldn't hesitate to call him a flop. Offensively, you think he would have developed a little better.

He has a jump hook, a nice drop step move, and has a decent looking jumper. He still can't catch post entry passes worth a damn, but let's not sit here and act like he's had a lot of opportunities to show off what he's been working on because he hasn't.

And although his rim protection stats came against backups mostly, its certainly not a bad thing that he had the 2nd best stats in the league in that category after Joakim Noah.
