This could be catastrophic. If he has surgery I'm more than willing to lose every game from here on out.

If we're not gonna make a trade for a potential SG of the future with legit 3pt range between Kemba and MKG then he should just go ahead and get the surgery as this season will be basically a waste with a 1st round exit due to poor roster construction as teams will double team Kemba hard at the PnR knowing that we don't have any real threats from the perimeter or scorers that can consistently create off the bounce.

Just go ahead and get surgery so we can tank and draft D'angelo Russell.

its not too late to tank

its never too late to tank

(watch lance become a pure pg once kemba sits for the season just to give this team another pg controversy for tradition's sake)

Kemba should have surgery and not risk blowing out his knee or something, Biz hurt his knee and Marv has a concussion, Al is in terrible shape and Lance has a bad groin. no shame at all in tanking and blaming it on injuries

So apparently Kemba has played through this since high school. If that injury is at all responsible for his streakiness / inconsistency then I'm 100% in favor of the surgery even though I still want to make the playoffs. He has been a warrior every year, he deserves for us to invest some time in him to get him fully healthy. Would be better for his play and conditioning next season to do it now instead of over the offseason.

funny you should say that since Jalen is a terrible analyst.

I've never understood why people make this argument. I don't care who the hell you are, you could be a 5'1 African American guy from Siberia. If you provide good content on basketball, I will happily consume it.

Your background shouldn't matter. If that's your way of thinking, I assume you'd love all of your basketball analysis to come from Shaq just because he's a top10, top15 player of all time.

Or how about Magic who's so bad at this that the new generation of NBA fans will think of him as the overly obvious analyst, not one of the best basketball players ever.

Im just not interested in listening to some guy who has absolutely no experience on what hes making a living talking about. That would be like a garbage man evaluating how me or you are doing our job that we have a career in.

Don't take this as me siding with Simmons as I disagree with a lot he has to say about the NBA, but the man has watched hundreds of ours of sports and has a degree in journalism. That's not exactly equivalent to your garbage man analogy.

And, by the way, this is completely off-topic, but I really disliked that comparison. I'm not fond of judging people by their occupation. Who knows, maybe that garbage man comes home after work and can write a damn good blog on the NBA.

As I said before - I don't care about your background as far as your content is good.

its a silly argument to say that someone who hasnt played basketball professionally cant be great at understanding it or talking about it or even coaching it.

think about all the coaches who have coached in the NBA who have barely more than high school playing experience. look at rich cho, dude is a gm.

i'd much rather listen to bill simmons (of 2000-12) or current zach lowe talk about basketball than 90% of former NBA players who have tried to do the same thing and been terrible.

I agree the concern is deff getting bigger but we have to remember that it was a Knicks game. and I believe they have the next 4 days off. If he was even a little sore it would be a good idea to let him sit so that he can get close to a whole week rest. Vs making it worse against the Knicks and possibly making it linger around longer.

Kemba with a meniscus tear. Surgery being advised.

That Game6 guy just posted this on the General Board:

Not sure how reliable that source is, though.

I don't really care about Jeremy Lamb but it sure would be nice to have Jarrett Jack right now
