What are folks thoughts on locking game threads a day or two after the game? Seems like there is some legitimately good discussion but it is hard to track because we are posting on old game threads.

Doesn't seem like a bad idea. We do get a lot of discussion in game threads about various topics that could be channeled into more appropriate threads.

I'd lock it when the next game thread is created.

We used to lock GT's the following day for all the reasons you stated

I like MA's idea of locking when the next game thread is started. Let's do that.

A lot of boards lock the game thread and make a post game thread immediately afterwards

might be a pain counting up the totals if you are looking through discussion, but as you are the one that normally does it, whatever suits you :D

WTH is going on in Charlotte. Posted a rental ad for my house and my phone is blowing up. 13 showings next week and three aggressive enough to suggest interest in purchase. I deleted the ad. Been doing this for 5 yrs but this is the craziest it's ever been. Seems like the housing market is charging back in warm weather southern cities. Won't be long before I cash out and buy mountain property near liverpooty

Just curious what the general thoughts are here on this subject since this place leans left for the most part

Charlotte has been a top five city in growth for a few years, surprised you're just now noticing this. You basically can't buy a house in Plaza Midwood for under $350K, even if it's only 1600 sf.

Sold my townhouse in the Oakhurst area back in July. It was on the market for about 6 weeks before a full offer was received.

I live in Mill Spring right now. Out in the middle of freaking no where. Literally 10 minutes from the new Tryon Equestrian Center, which is freaking unreal by the way. The owners of that place knocked on the door of my fiances parents 2 years ago and offered them 350k for their house. They agreed like idiots. Could have gotten so much more. Was their lottery ticket.

I don't have a problem with it.

But, (im definitely not an expert in anything military). Can a female physically handle ALL military occupations? Kind of something someone would want to know before you trust your life with another human being.
