The dream is still alive boys

the dream that we will trade Ball to Detroit for a future draft pick and pick Hayes at 7!!

also, when is dribbling the ball as high as your head ever a good thing?

if there is increased interest in the top 3, I hope we do trade down for extra resources

Cosmis final draft board. Does the mocks for Uproxx and is one of the people I trust the most when it comes to the draft.

Well, that big board echoes a lot of my sentiments I've been preaching the last few weeks

Hayes is a lead guard with skills now to help and potential to be a all-star lead guard

Okongwu better than Wiseman, who's lack of agility and overall slow-ness limits his ceiling

Maxey is underrated, has potential to be better than 4 of the top 5 picks, like a more powerful Kemba Walker

I have a feeling we end up with Wiseman, maybe I'm wrong

Gut odds for percentage chance we draft certain player.

Edwards: 40%
Wiseman: 30%
Okungwu: 15%
Ball: 10%
Everyone else: 5%

My pics are pretty much a LOCK but I "might" not take Isaiah Joe with 32. The reason why is because of Keandre Cook.ra player that I am almost certain will be there. He added that ext What I might do is take

3 - Tyrell Terry, (Hayes still has a shot)
PICK 1 - Tyrell Terry, Killian Hayes, Saddiq Bey

PICK 32 - Tyler Bey, Jalen Smith, JaDen McDaniels, Leandro Balmaro, Josh Green, Zeke Naji, Desmond Bane

PICK 56 - Isaiah Joe, Ty'shon Alexander, CJ Elleby, LaMar Stevens, Keandre Cook, Karim Mane, Skylar Mays

There is so much depth for SG that will still be on board at 56 I might opt to draft the best available at 32. This is just a maybe since I am such a fan of Joe. But taking him at 32 leaves me with not as much depth at PF for 56.

Haven't listened myself, but sounds like Mitch's press conference today was very encouraging. The embedded tweet below is absolutely the right stance, take whoever you have on top of the board. Apparently, he also mentioned something about how the #3 pick will be spent on a younger player (19-20) which should rule out my long nightmare of Toppin. I really think this could end with us happily settling with Edwards at #3 if the Melo goes 1 and Wiseman 2. Still think GSW is the wildcard here, just not sure they love Wiseman like some are trying to make us believe. I think regardless our pick will either be Wiseman, Edwards, or Okongwu. Ball is going #1.

This is another video of Keandre Cook. IMO he plays like KOBE and D Wade mixed but more of a KOBE clone. Just 3 inches shorter and without 6 rings lol. This video shows more of the KOBE comparison than the one I posted before. I am a fan now.

Yep, same here. I'm ready for it to happen so we can move on to something else (like actual basketball games).

Bonnell apparently sat down with Kupchak - https://amp.charlotteobserver.com/sports/charlotte-hornets/article247072732.html

My favorite part is him saying talks won't get serious until Monday or Tuesday, disregard the noise until then.

I've tried to figure out what the Warriors are going to do but it's so difficult to figure out.

Obviously, they are competing for a Championship this season. They have a 17M trade exception. Does picking anyone at #2 really elevate their Championship aspirations at all? Could you imagine James Wiseman trying to guard AD in the WCF?

Even a guy like Edwards, who Warriors have rumored to like, would not be a good player to elevate them. They are going to need guys who can lockdown top scorers in the playoffs. The only players I think they'd consider at all would be Okongwu, Toppin, and Deni. None of those are really projected for #2 and they could switch with Detroit/Chicago while picking up some assets.

What I'm getting at is I think it's very likely Edwards and Ball go #1, #2. Would we give Warriors better offer than the other teams to get them? Possibly.

Wiseman to guard AD might be Warriors best option, just because they probably battle for West for next two years. Draymond on Bron is probably their next best option, so if that’s the reasoning for liking Wiseman I get it.

Hopefully the draft goes in picks of 2 and 3 at a time.

1. Edwards also 1. Wiseman
2. Avdija also 2. Okongwu also 2. Toppin

That will leave us with no other option but Terry and Hayes lol

I get to the point where I’m completely over people who know absolutely nothing claiming that they know everything or guaranteeing what front offices are going to do or not going to do or how front offices are thinking or what front offices aren’t thinking.

It’s a waiting game that comes to fruition on draft night. Until then everyone is in the dark and everything is speculation and conjuncture.

One possibility may be to trade #2 to Atlanta for #6 and Capela? Capela fits into the Warriors trade exception.

I'm very confident that we are drafting Diop's nephew. If you don't believe me, you're the idiot.

Not much mention of Grant Riller. I would highly consider him but my only question is his injury which he has seemed to heal from quite well. I truly hope it doesn't hinder him because he is a talent. A projected 1st rounder.
