the dream that we will trade Ball to Detroit for a future draft pick and pick Hayes at 7!!
also, when is dribbling the ball as high as your head ever a good thing?

Obviously, they are competing for a Championship this season. They have a 17M trade exception. Does picking anyone at #2 really elevate their Championship aspirations at all? Could you imagine James Wiseman trying to guard AD in the WCF?
Even a guy like Edwards, who Warriors have rumored to like, would not be a good player to elevate them. They are going to need guys who can lockdown top scorers in the playoffs. The only players I think they'd consider at all would be Okongwu, Toppin, and Deni. None of those are really projected for #2 and they could switch with Detroit/Chicago while picking up some assets.
What I'm getting at is I think it's very likely Edwards and Ball go #1, #2. Would we give Warriors better offer than the other teams to get them? Possibly.

I get to the point where I’m completely over people who know absolutely nothing claiming that they know everything or guaranteeing what front offices are going to do or not going to do or how front offices are thinking or what front offices aren’t thinking.
It’s a waiting game that comes to fruition on draft night. Until then everyone is in the dark and everything is speculation and conjuncture.
