i agree, I remember there were comments that he wasn't athletic enough and too slow, but then I watched footage and saw him recovering from the 3 point line to block guards at the basket which made me think his foot speed looks fine to me. But it was the constant Williams is more athletic.

there was definitely some love for Kessler in our draft thread.

I liked Kessler. He showed promise at UNC before he transferred. I still think Mark will be better but I'm not shocked at all that Kessler is showing out.

To he fair mark almost had a 20 20 game in 20 minutes. I'm sure if he got 30 plus minutes a game he'd average 13 and 8 fairly easily with a 20 20 sprinkled in.

One of my pet peeves is grading draft picks before February of rookie seasons. Way too early to judge anything.

Ehhh, I feel like you can get a pretty good idea of a player's ceiling through 40 games. Not many guys look like dog water as a rookie and then become superstars. Not talking efficiency perse...

Like I would give it like 5% chance Jabari ends up being better than Mathurin or Paolo at this point.

but yeah too early to judge a guy who plays 10-20 mpg with mediocre stats. They could go either way.

John Wall had a interesting interview today where he blistered the Rockets Organization for their losing culture and the effect it has on the locker room. Thought this was interesting as it relates to the Hornets current situation. The bring back the buzz gang made a comment on Twitter about how they've heard Rumblings from sources that most of the players don't want to be here. I'm not surprised to hear that, if true, but I had not heard or read that anywhere else. I do hope the losing culture, lack of leadership Etc has not created a rot that will be impossible to undo in the upcoming years.

I do think it's really important that we prioritize adding some very strong positive proven veteran leadership to the locker room over the summer. It's long overdue and much needed for the continued development of our young core.

Rockets seemingly held him hostage and appear to be doing the same thing to Eric Gordon.

We're paying Hayward **** of money so he should assume that role. :banghead:

Seriously though, we need someone like Marvin Williams in the locker room. We could've bring back Kemba to provide that veteran leadership but I guess he truly wanted to have guaranteed playing time.

It's not like Kessler dominated against Gobert and KAT though, but his speed and coordination look fine here.

I’m glad we were able to inspire Mark with this discussion about his competition

There is an early game from Paris Pistons VS Bulls 3:30 featuring two of my favorite players Ayo Dosunmu VS Killian Hayes

Pels get another keeper.

Despite his tender age of 19, the former NBA Global Academy alum and NBA G League Ignite prospect displays an already elite ability to read the game thanks to his high basketball IQ. Those smarts complement his 6-foot-7 frame and 6-foot-11 wingspan, making him a nightmare for opposing perimeter players.

"He has great size for a wing," Green added. "He can play four positions and guard four positions so that makes him unique.

Didn't know you could renegotiate NBA contracts.

You can only renegotiate a salary increase.
