I got 4 trade offers last night.

1 Ibaka for Rubio (the trade sho offered me a year ago in inverse, which I accepted in order to roll the dice on Rubio... not sure if it was a joke or not. Ibaka wouldn't help me nearly as much as Rubio does)

3 versions of Gortat for DJ. 2 were 2 for 1 + pick which I won't accept on principle, final had me swapping a 3rd for a 4th. Almost pulled the trigger this morning, but I don't like Gortat enough.

Anyway, I was only commenting on the fact that once I become interested in your team, they're probably going to start losing. If I become a fan, they're doomed. I'm looking at you, Gilbert Arenas.

i feel the same way. i started talking about lowry last week, then the next day he was in the news for getting in trouble with the law for throwing a ball at a female ref during lockout and then hurt his foot. classic jinx.

What's up with New Orleans? They should be worse than this, non?

Same. Thomo has been trying to off load Gortat to me every which way but I keep on rejecting his offers. I have a strong feeling that if he is just an ordinary player with Nash on the roster he's going to be VERY ordinary the moment Nash is traded/leaves for FA.

thomo has been sending me offers for bargs all week. that dude is a trade proposing machine. i think i have turned down 50 of his offers since league inception and never accepted a single one.

vinny has me thinking long and hard about trading crash. his offer is crash for batum and scola. watching scola last night didnt help though. and batum is shooting 37% this year. yikes.

Trade him Wallace for away games and then get him back for home games (seriously, compare the stats).

I'd take Hibbert or especially Gasol off him - doubt I would be willing to pay the price he would want though.

John Lucas taking his chance with Rose and injured scoring 25 points, 8 assists and 8 rebounds.

But he took 28 shots! Next highest scorer was Korver with 14.
I guess they didn't change the offense and left it as let the point guard throw up as many shots as he wants.

Also whats up with Noah, I thought he deserved the big contract as an excellent defending center and hopefully growing better offensively, but he seems to be stinking it up this year.

Got paid then relaxed?

Actaully, the Hawks would be smart to make a play for Kaman.

The Kaman/Okafor pairing has been doing well for New Orleans, I'm not sure they will give him up for nothing.

The Knickerbockers will find out soon enough that Shump isn't their guy to run an offense at PG.

"Kwame Brown's season with the Golden State Warriors is all but over."

Wow. Speaking of guys being out due to pec injury - Kwame Brown gets the big contract and goes down. Shoulda stayed in NC. Gotta feel bad for him.

Superstar calls and no calls are the biggest black eye for the NBA. Its the only part I really can't stand.

gotta feel bad for GS, not kwame. GS paid 7 mil for 2 weeks of basketball and at the end of the season, they dont even have bird rights to show for it.

did anyone else watch mark jackson try to single-handedly ruin basketball last night?

on a semi related note, while watching that game and seeing nate robinson play i couldnt help but think that kemba reminds me of a slightly taller nate, hopefully w/out the issues. i really hope kemba is more than just a rich mans nate robinson or else i will be depressed.
