True but for the 13th pick in the draft I'd do it easy.

We are the Bobcats, why are we laughing at Evan Turner who is a very solid player and has had little opportunity in Philly (despite the minutes)

Perfect 6th man.

A 13th pick we likely won't get anyway. I'd rather hold onto that pick (and the Detroit pick) for insurance in case we lose our pick to Chicago in a couple of years.

I wouldn't hate trading a pick for ET but I wouldn't be enamored with it either. Plus, dude sounds like a muppet.

Looks like were stuck with mediocrity once again for another 8yrs. We had our shot with in 2008 but chose Turner instead of trading Brand's contract to move down with Twolves pick and get Cousins or Monroe.

Might adopt you guys as my 2nd team, I loved Kemba since watching him at Rice at the Prime Time shootout when my HS team played there. I see him as a potential Tim Hardaway type.

I haven't been able to see alot of games, hows Biyombo progressing? What are his weaknesses besides being lost on offense.? do you think if you drafted Kelly Olykyk with one of your picks he would be able to play alongside him? You guys have a bright future hope MJ doesn't screw it up. Do you guys prefer Noel or Mclemore at this point?

If you guys drafted Mclemore/Kelly Olykyk I think you have to try and sign a legitimate post scorer to prevent stunting Kembas growth as a passing point guard..he needs a low post guy.
Millsap for 10mill a yr then Mozgov for depth could be enough to push you into the playoffs
C. Kelly/Mozgov/Haywood
F. Millsap/Biyombo
F. Gilchrist/Taylor
G. Mclemore/Gordon
G. Kemba/Sessions

LongliveIverson, I like you already. I love that team that you are proposing although to land both Millsap and Mozgov we would likely have to get a team to sign and trade one of them to us. I personally love the way Biz is progressing. Unlike many I don't expect young players to be good right away. I understand that the nba has the greatest players in the world. Aside from a few players who are drafted into ideal situations only the best players look like stars immediately. We didn't have a good big man for Biz to learn from on the rostor or the coaching staff. There was no way he was going to make huge offensive strides over night. I think that we are a great situation for Mclemore though. Especially if we can obtain a scoring big like Millsap. If he is interested in coming here I would seriously consider overpaying for him. Ben and Hendo could benefit greatly from each other and fom Gordon if he is still on the roster. If we get the Portland pick Kelly is my favorite behind Plumley who will likely be gone. So I would be very happy to see us draft him. I am not worried about Kemba's passing. He wants to pass. He has just been stuck with a team that struggles to finish, so he has been forced to do it himself. I am confident that when he gets some better players around him he will claim an ongoing spot among the league's top pointguards.

Welcome aboard LongLiveIverson. Don't let our frequent bickering run you off.

I saw on a recent article that Jazz would be willing to let Millsap and Jefferson walk for nothing in order to let their young talent develop and possibly be in contention for a better 2014 pick. It was actually on Real gm. They were offered late first rounders for Millsap but turned them down.
Timofey Mozgov is pretty unhappy in Denver behind McGee and Koufos, I see him as a run of the mill big body you can get for 3million per year.

I feel Millsap brings alot to the table of what you would expect from a guy like Anthony Bennett. Bennett probably has a higher ceiling than that, but both are strong, athletic, bennett being a better shooter obviously. IF you paired Bennett and Biyombo though you would be severely undersized and get abused on D. Millsap isn't Tim Duncan, but he isn't a liability on D by any means, and is actually pesky getting alot of steals.

That being said Cho might be in the OKC train of thought to not spend a penny until his own guys are locked up. I feel with a guy like Mclemore is enough to propel you to the 10-12 range if he can make a Brad Beal/Waiters type impact, possibly more efficient so why not go for a big jump an add Millsap to that core

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Biz has the worst hands of any player in the history of the NBA; body of a Greek God, hand-eye coordination of Helen Keller.

I feel like you've said that bef................ oh that's right, you say it EVERY time somebody brings him up.

Don't you have another Mullens fellatio thread to start somewhere?

I'm confused; the guy asked our opinion on a Biyombo trade. I answered, you didn't like my answer and threw a hissy fit. You constantly say uncivil things towards me, at this point you've essentially crossed over into creepy cyber stalker territory. You don't wanna be Creepy Cyber Stalker Dude, do you?

I just have a strong feeling we're going to get outbid for Millsap, Jefferson, et al. Which is fine with me, don't want to overpay them anyway.

Give me Noel. He's the best center prospect for the next three draft classes and guards that can score are a dime a dozen. We might as well take advantage of it.

I'm on the Noel wagon too...sucks seeing so many top prospects out of the running already though, was hoping Bennett or Smart would really take over in the tournament. But oh well, IMO it's pretty much a two-man race now between Noel and McLemore.

Noel. It's close but I gotta go big over small. I really, really, really wanted Drummond last year so Noel will be a nice consolation prize. He probably fills more needs if you tot it up. Athleticism, rebounding, defense, tall, can catch lobs. He's got cool 80s hair like McBob.

Agreed. Those two guys are "final piece" types for teams close to the 'ship needing a player to get them over the proverbial hump, not for the team with the worst record in the league. McBob has been a revelation. While I think Biz will never amount to much due to having canned hams at the end of his wrists, where most of us have hands, a four man front court rotation of Noel, Mully, McBob and Manos De Piedras is decent.

Noel is like anthony davis from last year in terms of being so above everyone else that the #2 spot is a more interesting question. He's not as good as davis, but the entire draft class feels watered down.

Why is everyone lobbying for Noel now? is it because of his absence of play? pre-injury he wasn't the consensus number one pick, it seems ass backwards that now - after he has had a serious injury which may have capped his ceiling btw he is now above the other prospects.

I'd want McLemore over Noel. He just fits what we need perfectly. I don't think he would be everyones number 1 pick but he should be for the Bobs. He's an athletic sharp shooter with good size. All of those are needs on the current roster.

What we really need is a back to the basket big but I don't see any legitimate choices at the top of the draft. I'd move Sessions + POR 1st for Cody Zeller in a second. Unlikely, sure.

But a core of Kemba - McLemore - MKG - Zeller - Biz would be pretty sweet and definitely a step in the right direction in terms of having a balanced lineup.

That's how we roll on this board. When Mullens is out we sing his praises and talk about how terrible we are without him and when Mullens is playing we blast him and call him the worst player ever.

I feel if they go with Mclemore the next pick should be Kelly Olykyk could be a huge payoff Brad Miller type or he can just be a Spencer Hawes. Regardless he's a terrific fit with Biyombo's game, can play the 4 or 5.

I saw another idea I liked, Trade Ben Gordon for Boozer. Chicago would move Boozer for anything, to get an expiring contract who can shoot..or used to beable to shoot. is a no brainer. He at least gives you a threat down low Kemba can dump off too

FA sign some capable NBA players. Timofey Mozgov for a big body and Martell Webster as a swingman
C. Biyombo/Mozgov/Haywood
F. Boozer/Kelly
F. Gilchrist/Taylor
G. Mclemore/Webster
G. Kemba/Sessions

The other route I think they could take is to trade the pick. I would try again to pry Cousins away make them an offer they can't refuse. #1 pick, Biyombo and Jeff Taylor for Cousins
We don't take back any bad contracts, and get a dominant post player better than anyone we would take #1. Biyombo and Cousins wouldn't work anyway they would both clog up the paint.

Kings get a chance to draft Noel and then another player possibly Porter or Bennett with their own pick, staying with a nice core of Evans and 2 top 6 picks.

C. Cousins/Haywood
F. Boozer/Mullins
F. Gilchrist/FA
G. Henderson/K.Pope
G. Kemba/Sessions

With the Blazers pick you can target a shooting speciliast like Kentavious Pope. Still do the Gordon trade, and fill out the bench with FA. I would keep Mullins only because he stretches the floor next to Cousins
