I'm really leaning towards wanting to draft Payne with our pick. Outside of Okafor, Russell, and Kaminsky he's the most offensively talented player in this draft at a position of need. He's a decent shooter but his playmaking is seriously impressive. He's skinny as heck, but his 6'7 wingspan gives him good size at point. His court vision is comparable to Chris Paul's but without the athleticism to match. He's the type of player that makes his teammates much better offensively than they otherwise would be, which is a hand in glove fit for this team.
Agreed. Would be so freaking happy if we drafted Payne.
