CHA gets: Tyus Jones
MIN gets: heavily protected 1st round pick

Wolves have a plethora of guards and could be looking to trade one away. I'd expect one of Rubio or Jones to be the one traded. I don't necessarily hate Sessions, but I think an upgrade at backup PG is needed. Tyus Jones has shown potential to be a solid player but isn't getting great minutes due to the logjam in Minnesota. Based on what I've seen from him, I think he'd be a nice fit here in Charlotte.

I'd do it, I may just be a Duke homer but I really like his upside as a true PG even with his size limitation. He is a Minnesota native though so I'd feel a little bad taking him from his hometown, but I'd still do it.

Have to send out BRob though, no sense having 4 PGs with guaranteed contracts on the roster.

I also don't think Jones would be even an average backup PG defensively so am not convinced he'd be a reliable second PG, but I don't mind trading for him with the goal of continuing his development.

That's more than I'd give up for a very minimal upgrade at backup PG. Sessions hasn't been setting the world on fire but I think he gets a bad wrap. Compared to a lot of other team's backup PGs he's pretty solid. And he's durable which is severely lacking on this squad.

I would just like to see how we look with a PG with elite court vision and the ability to shoot the 3, which I think Jones has the potential for. Jones is definitely the anti-Sessions.

Tyus definitely wouldn't be an immediate upgrade from Sessions. But replacing Roberts and gradually building up minutes could benefit us heading into next season. Assuming he develops well, which under Clifford I think he would.

I think if we trade a first we might as well go all in for a big upgrade, like Brandon Knight (in a bad system, would work well here), Casspi or *gulp* Rubio

Yeah, I'd take Knight here in a heartbeat.

I'm sure they will just blame injuries for our slipping, but I think a change would really help this team.

Hibbert for a backup point guard, got a couple of sniffs for this on the trade board. Some fans seem willing to give Hibbert a go.
I think Hawes can play pinch minutes at backup centre still.

Sessions for a backup 4. A Memphis fan offered B Wright for Sessions on the trade board. Seemed pretty perfect.

Relevant from Mavs beat writer:

Sources tell ESPN that Mavs have no immediate intention to shop C Andrew Bogut, as their focus for now is trying to salvage their season. However, Mavs management recognizes that Bogut has significant value in the trade market as a proven championship-caliber complementary piece in a contract year and could become motivated to move him if and when it becomes clear that the Mavs have no hope of making the playoffs this season. Several league sources said the Mavs should be able to get a first-round pick from a contender for Bogut.

I'd do this in a heartbeat...I really like Barton...id still leave Marvin at the starting 4 and then pair Faried with Frank on the 2nd unit. Faried would be a great energizer and rebounder for us.

With that said, I think the Niggets would quickly decline.

Any interest in Deron Williams? We could take advantage of the situation Dallas is in like we did with Memphis and C. Lee last year; to upgrade a position with a valuable veteran for half a season and the playoffs.

Hornets say no. Barton too similar to Lamb. Faried not a 3pt shooters, so doesn't really fit next to Cody. Cliff wants a stretch 4. Marvin would start over Faried for this team. We lose the only legit wing defender on the roster.

From the Nuggets, I'd look to a trade that brought us Chandler and Nelson (but I wouldn't give up MKG for that). I think those two would fit great. Chandler gives team another 3/4 hybrid and Nelson is hopefully and upgrade to Sessions.

I'd be interested, but I haven't followed DWill in a long time. How do DAL fans feel about how he's played?
