Honestly though, that Howard trade was just inexcusable and that's on Kuptchak. You wouldn't even be talking about the tax if Biz's money wasn't on the books.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Yup, that trade made no sense. Were better off just keeping him and letting him expire. Which is exactly what we should do with our albatross contracts on the roster today.

just watched a pickup basketball video on Youtube. Bunch of NBA guys including (surprisingly) Bismack.

I watched him fail to show correctly on two picks that resulted in back to back wide open threes by.... Buddy Hield. One of which was game point. I feel like you have to show better on a 43% NBA three point shooter

Can someone please volunteer to watch this and report back with any interesting tidbits? I'll be stuck at work.

Well I doubt anything about Biz’s game has change at all between now and last year. Truly one of the most unskilled, low iq NBA players I have ever seen.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Mitch got 4 2nd round picks out of it. But yeah I still don't think it was worth it.

That said it's important to keep in mind that Cho traded away several years worth of 2nds to get Willy Hernangomez. Mitch likely wouldn't have valued those picks nearly as much had that not happened.

Just about all I was getting at. just an observation of how he still can't figure out how to play.

The video also reminded me of how much I love Ben McLemore's jumper. That's about as pretty as it gets

I still root for Ben to become a player. Poetry in motion.

I was a yuge fan of his prior to the NBA and would've preferred him to Cody at the time of the draft.

He showed some promise in his first couple of years but seemed to fall off a lot. No idea why as I don't follow the Kings, but he has/had a ton of natural skill and I'm a sucker for a silky jumpshot

He and Vonleh are part owners of, and share in a 50/50 custody arrangement pertaining to, the same brain.

They can quickly re-tool if Kemba leaves and be a better team for less money over less time.

A sign and trade. A rescind. A cash dump

Add Derrick Rose, Shane Larkin, Vucevic, and Sindarius Thornwell.

Rose, Larkin
Bacon, Thornwell
Batum, Bridges
Washington, Zeller
Vucevic or Diallo, Hernangomez

Graham, Biyombo, McDaniels, Martin

That’s a better team than last seasons team.
It could work out for the best.

Sign and Trade

Marvin Williams and Malik Monk for Vucevic

Waiving Parker and rescinding Kaminsky opens up more space.

For a 20 and 10, 36% 3 pt shooting - even at 25 million he’d be a bargain.

All bets are off if we are losing Kemba. The plan should be to accumulate young players to develop and picks. That likely won't happen this year, but it could next year and the year after kind of like what Atlanta has been doing. I just hope if we get a chance at a Luca, we don't trade him lol. Tanking/rebuilding is such a crap shoot. You need luck on your side, no matter how good your front office is. Don't forget, even if we hit on a pick or two it usually takes 3-4 seasons for them to develop into star territory.

On top of all of this, we simply cannot give up on Monk or Bridges until their rookie deals are up. We'll have all the time in the world to let them develop and see where they end up.

I agree rich that we can't give up on monk and Miles (it looked a lot like we have given up on monk)
