A guy who plays for UNC Asheville.

I hope you're not suggesting him with our lottery pick?

No, and I don't generally get into draft stuff much. Just surprised to see this dude is balling out at UNCA right around the corner and I've never heard of him.

Just read up on him out of curiosity. His scouting report says he's a skilled big, but lacks quick first step and athleticism. Says he's a late 2nd rd pick or undrafted.

Usually those smaller school guys can put up good numbers simply because the lack of competition in the conference. The Nation leading scorer plays for Denver yet he's not getting any hype as a lottery pick.

Lol I've seen him play in person quite a bit. I like him a lot, but the last person from this area that actually made a decent pro was Kevin Martin from western carolina. I'd be weary. He's solid though. Glad to see a UNCA guy get talked about on here lol

If Mark needs back surgery I think Sarr should and will be the pick.

If not I still like Cody Williams.

Successful draft if we come out with Risacher, Williams or Holland (controversial).

I really need someone to talk me out of Holland. I see all the red flags. I see ignite is a crapshow, but I just can't look away from the potential of this kid.

My brain says get a smart guy who can shoot (Reed, Risacher) but heart can't look past Holland.

When official measurement come out and it turns out he is actually 6'8, I may lose it.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

His play reminded me of Doncic, not quick but somehow still hitting tough shots or finding the open player.

Doncic did it against a lot tougher competition though, I’d need to see how he did against athletic defenders before considering him at all

Sarr will get bullied in the post, he need to be next to a strong centre

The likelihood we draft someone better than Miller or LaMelo in this draft is probably sub 10%.

Is there a single player in the 2021 draft better than LaMelo?

https://www.tankathon.com/pick_odds

Just a reminder that if season ended today we have a 42% chance we have pick 6 or 7. I mean we can win lottery for sure, but we won last year, idk if we get lucky 2 years in a row.

I'm wary of G-League guys now, but Ron Holland intrigues me. We need a strong, physical, competitive guy that likes contact. Holland is that player in this draft, I like him.

Don't know much about Risacher but had a good game today. Where would his athleticism slot in next to Holland and Williams?

It's funny we could have 3 Williams potentially.

Watching Cody Williams for the first time and he has had a below average game so far. Just shows you how weak this draft is when Williams is one of the projected top picks.

Risacher has gained on Williams for me.

Yeah Risacher is probably the guy I take today. His shooting and underrated athleticism would be great. I think he has the length to be a decent defender as well.

Miller/Risacher just seems like a good pair of wings.
