I mean to me it looks like it was trying to draw a charge and flopped after contact to sell it

Re: Welcome To Charlotte: Mark Williams
Mark weighs 242 pounds at 5.4% body fat. He was the 7th heaviest player in his draft. He's also 7'2 and has a 9'9 wingspan. He is plenty big enough to play in the NBA.
The average center is 247 pounds. https://ballarelife.com/average-weight-of-nba-players-by-position/

We seem to have a good conditioning program (besides Gordon), Nick came in as a twig and is built like a tank now. Same with Cody Martin.

If he's going to flop he could at least not look like a pansy doing it

I'll take that over the flopping our other recent first rounders have been doing

On a sidenote Duren is far from setting the league on fire on the Pistons which makes me feel better for now.

Re: Welcome To Charlotte: Mark Williams
I'd rather the focus be more on maximizing his mobility and endurance than bulking up much. He needs to get stronger, but he has a pretty good frame and he'll gain strength eventually over time. If hes 242 now then 250ish might be a good long term playing weight.
This team wants to play fast and vertical. They don't need a big Hibbert'esque behemoth always lagging behind the play.

Re: Welcome To Charlotte: Mark Williams
What is the NBA record for number of sprained ankles in a season?
Feel like we've had this issue before too.
