kemba's life is about to get much worse as teams blitz him with two defenders pretty much every time he touches the ball. getting lance back can help give us another ball handler to attack the aggressive perimeter traps we will face.

time to push the tempo as much as possible.

Well, Kemba had his best year under Dunlap with Biyombo starting and him dominating every possession. Granted we were absolutely terrible, but this may workout for him. I honestly don't know what to expect. We might be better overall for all I know. With Kemba, Henderson/Lance, MKG, Zeller and Biyombo we have a starting 5 with some damn good athletic ability. Mike D'Antoni would probably have a field day coaching that squad.

the good news is that if kemba can beat that traps, the lane will be wide open for him to finish in the paint or to find others for easy shots.

i'm not saying kemba wont put up better numbers or that we wont win more, but kemba will have to carry pretty much all of the burden on offense - scoring and creating. at least the 2nd half of the dunlap year kemba had mcroberts to help him out.

Only way we have a chance in hell of winning any games is to run, run and run more. Im actually very intrigued with the lineup when Lance comes back. This is either going to be a blessing in disguise or a complete disaster where we may score 54 points or something of that nature in a game. There will be no in between.

Time for us to truly figure out where this team stands when we can run at will. We should be able to out-athlete teams when Lance comes back. I hate it for Al but let's be honest here, this is the test we've all been waiting for. Is Biz a legit starter in this league?

What was supposed to be a promising season quickly turned into a massive disappointment.

Damn you, MJ! You said this is going to be an exciting season! :(

It really does. I don't wish injuries on anyone (except maybe Andrew Bynum and the like) but Al's injury could definitely be a blessing in disguise should Biz figure it out

I don't celebrate injuries like that. Especially for a great guy like Jefferson.

But this does make this team more intriguing to watch. I found myself flipping back and forth between the game and Duck freaking Dynasty the other night, and that never happens

As long as we are sellers at the deadline, which is now all but insured. And we get a test trial of the Rudy Gay Theory. It's baptism by fire for our young bigs - Biz, Zeller and Vonleh. If Al opts in and we are stuck with the same roster, at least this stretch will hopefully put an idea on the coach/front office to run a more uptempo offense and to start building around players who are younger and healthier and who will be on the court and last long term.

This injury and Al opting in will relegate Al to short-term fix only. I think he is too big a risk to be extended and this is the beginning of the berth of a new identity for this team.

Unfortunately after what I saw of Vonleh tonight thats inevitable. Although Id rather just give Vonleh the minutes right now.

Won't be extended, but hes going to opt into that contract.

True which means no money for Wesley Matthews. Still maybe money for my Chandler Parsons…

Still yet to be seen how our offense flows without Jefferson. No idea where points are going to come from. We literally have the worst starting offensive front court in the league now with Biyombo, Zeller, and MKG. Its not even close to be honest.

we might also have the worst starting backcourt, so we have that going for us as well.

Lol, good point. This team is just terrible to be honest. The only thing that keeps me watching is seeing if Walker can keep his shooting percentage above 40 freaking percent (which is sad), seeing MKG make a jumper once in a while, and see Zeller at least try to act like he might one day be a solid role player, which lately hes been garbage.

Were getting ready to replace Jefferson with a guy who has scored zero points the past 3 games. Unless Biyombo has a magic potion that turns him into something incredible by tomorrow night we may not score 70 points.

We are merely peeling off Cho's bandaid and getting a glimpse of his wound.
