He's handling it ok.

Cho was grinning ear to ear when they asked about the blowing incident and other "Antics".

Lance says he's very different on/off court. Very serious on, laid back and funny off.
Thought Charlotte had his best interests in mind.
Talked with MJ about maturation, but MJ loves his game: passing, team play, competitive edge.

Kemba is very smart, knows when to go and when to pass. Looks forward to making plays with each other.
Al can do anything in the post: "every head fake move I've ever seen."

"A little upset" that the blowing-ear incident overshadows his play.
Considers himself a great player, will bring a lot to Charlotte.

Can definitely help team get wins and, hopefully, homecourt.
Wants to be a leader that helps bring success.

Cho asked if the team is better: "believe we are, Lance adds another scorer and will take pressure off Kemba as a ball-handler.

Oh great, a Hayward question.

"How did you have to deviate your attention after the Hayward situation?"
Cho: "You have lots of options when free agency begins, Lance was obviously one of the top options in free agency."

Lance: Hornets mean a lot to the city, cool to come back during the change with the history returning. Fans excited, welcoming, I feel comfortable here. When you're comfortable, you play better.

"Favorite thing to do on-court"
Lance: Defense and assists

Cho's goals: Improve scoring, defense, and playmaking. Lance brings all of that.

Cho started by talking up his achievements: young star, leading triple doubles, 2nd in most improved.
Cho sees us as definite "Free agent destination" after bringing in Al and Lance.

Lance wants to bring the defensive edge from Indiana, likes Clifford's defense-first approach.
Familiar with Kemba, Al, MKG, looking forward to the backcourt with Kemba.
Goes back with Kemba, played against him a lot. They like each other, but "I had no friends on the court".

It's possible that Charlotte could get 2-3 players on the All-Star team in 2015

Has anyone asked him what he thinks of our new uniforms? Or has anyone asked him what number he's going to wear?

lets not get carried away. we need to get one first. the only teams to get 3 are the powerhouses with the "big 3s" that people cream their pants over. With that said I do think we'll get one this year. Al's gonna get respect for his all-NBA season. And Lance has a chance. I don't think Kemba's numbers are gonna get better, though he's on the border and should get consideration.

I think one is almost certain, two is likely if Lance can build on last season, but I think we have virtually no shot at 3 unless Kemba seriously upgrades his FG% (possible with Lance around).

Let's look at the competition for getting an all-star nod.

At point there's Wall, Lowry, Rose, Irving, Rondo, and Teague; so quite a bit of competition here.

At shooting guard there's Wade, Derozan, Beal, and Johnson; not nearly as much competition here.

At center there's Noah, Hibbert, Lopez, Horford, Drummond, and Gortat; so more competition than at SG but a lot of injury prone guys and most of the rest are on bad teams.

So out of the three I think Stephenson and Al have a much better chance of making it, if only because they have less competition in front of them.

Lance has taken over the @hornets handle.

John Barnet @JohnGunstBarnet · 25m
@hornets who's gonna break more ankles this year between you and Kemba?

.@JohnGunstBarnet That's going to be tough! @KembaWalker has the handles and I have the handles. We'll battle to see who gets the most

@hornets how far do you feel the hornets will go in the playoffs this season and what do you think of Noah and PJ?

.@Matt_Regnery I think we'll go real far. The guys we have will help us a lot and will bring that defensive edge to get some wins

Evan Melton @evanmelton · 46m
@hornets how many triple double are shooting for this year?

@evanmelton I feel like I could've gotten 11 this year! I'm definitely going for 15 or close to that

(Side note, the above was the first tweet I saw, I thought he was talking about money)

@hornets Which Hornet/Bobcat player last year impressed you the most?

.@Teamship Al Jefferson. His post moves are incredible. He has every head fake in the world. He's unstoppable in the post - automatic bucket
