These Finals are harder to watch than the 7-win Bobcat season.

Warriors have turned into a bi-polar team in the playoffs. When they are bad, they are really bad. Cavs continue to look unbeatable at home. I see no reason why Cavs can't tie this up at 2-2.

And at some point Curry is going to have a monster game, right? Klay?

New rule: Three pointers are worth three points unless you miss a three pointer, then you get a point taken away. Chuck away now, you mother$*%&ers.

Kyrie really needed a game like this. He looked completely disinterested in games 1 and 2.

Yes, they're too good not to. It's just a matter of when.

I also don't understand why people think Love is the odd man out either. I think as far as a big goes, he's a great fit with LeBron. He's not very ball dominant, is a great passer, grabs boards, and can score from deep. Kyrie is the one I'd be looking to trade for someone who is more of a catch and shoot option so LeBron can play his natural PG-on-offense position

Quite true. Seems to me the writer thinks LBJ has become a PF and Melo is still an SF? The ball dominant issue could surely be a problem. Thing is, they have been talking about wanting to play with each other, it might work out, like in Miami.

And then are they gonna trade Kyrie for CP3?

Carmelo was great without the ball in the olympics. He can catch and shoot and he used to be a terrific offensive rebounder. I'm not sure with his knee if he can still bang down low though. Lebron can play off the ball in fact he was great in miami used in that role. I think they'd work together okay. But they would have been much better together 4 years ago.

But Melo signed the 5 year deal instead of the 3 year deal like james and wade suggested he do so they could be free agents together

How many were for home court teams? Or weren't I should say? It really feels like the NBA is turning into a volume three point shooting contest where one team buries the other with threes and the other team can't close the gap b/c defense is illegal. Home rims sure treat you better than away rims.

I did not realize that Denver has 3 1st round picks (7, 15, 19) and 2 2nd round picks (53, 56). You have to think that they'll be looking to make some moves on draft night.

Kyrie isn't a very good passer.

I'm really happy for Brendan Haywood. Love seeing that dude on TV. We're going to be seeing a lot of him in the future. I've been telling you guys this for years, since his first days in Charlotte. He's fantastic on radio and TV talking hoops. Dude is a hoops junkie and he's as eloquent as you'll find. He's at least one UNC athlete who didnt mail it in while on campus.

I've kind of spent the last few days in Latvia's borderland near Russian camping and drinking.

the finals are pissing me off to the highest degree. I hate the Warriors and Draymond Green deserved every bit of that suspension. I honestly don't understand why people are so up in arms about it. He had it coming

In the aggregate yes. After all he wasn't suspended for just that one incident.

I think that people are having a hard time with the specific incident however. In isolation LeBron knocked him down and then stepped over him, preventing him from potentially getting back in the play. It had a degree of recklessness and potential danger that simply wasn't there in Draymond's response ... yet he's the one getting suspended for it? In isolation this looks like the league protecting LeBron to a silly degree.

It feels to me that some folks want the context of the one incident to override the cumulative punishment.

Honestly, I don't really care that much. I kind of hope that GS can beat the Cavs without Green and that the finals will finally be over.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I just wanna see Draymond Green's reaction when the Warriors win tonight and Silver awards him the MVP trophy in absentia. Hopefully ABC gets a camera into whatever random bar he'll be watching from.

Did it really have a greater degree of recklessness though? Lebron committed a common foul then stepped over him (tech). Draymond swung at and hit his nuts purposefully. Correct call by the league.
