Re: 2025 Draft Prospect Thread
I think we need to consider the Spurs could move back given Harper would struggle to get ball handling mins there, but they are also now primed to make a bid for Giannis even more so than before. Poor Spurs, it's about time they have a chance to build a sustainable winner.
For us though, I am worried Jeff will like Kon and Malauch.
We should be looking at Ace/VJ/Tre/Fears/Queen. Of those, I think Queen is the biggest swing and I see him being one of the next great scoring bigs at the 4 spot.

I don't doubt the Spurs are looking to trade the pick. The problem is they want Giannis and that #2 pick makes sense for Milwaukee. They can sell their fanbase on building around Harper and whatever else the Spurs would offer.

FWIW, all the big-gun mocks in the linked list have identical top 4‘s with us taking VJ.

Re: 2025 Draft Prospect Thread
How hard is it for all of these draft sites to update the height and weight of the draft prospects after that information was revealed yesterday? Shouldn't be that difficult. Maybe the nba needs an api database that sites can plug into to get this kind of information. Just dump a spreadsheet into a back end. You could write it AI script to do this in probably 10 minutes. Still seeing ace listed at 6-10 everywhere. I mean it's really not rocket science to have standardized heights in reporting. get it together draft sites.

Re: 2025 Draft Prospect Thread
What players are available for trade if we were to trade the pick with other assets maybe? I’m honestly not hot on any of these guys

This is more a gut feeling than anything, but Im having trouble buying the idea that NBA teams are really going to consider taking Kon Knueppel in the top 5. This just seems so out of whack with how NBA teams actually draft.

The more I think about it with the system we run. 3pt heavy system I think they are going to prefer Ace and Tre over VJ.
Just a feeling.

I suppose there is an outside chance for Harper to fall to 4. If the Spurs really like Castle and the 76ers Maxey.

He didn't do any of the athletic testing either.

We will see if his vertical or agility scores ever make it public now too.... suspect as hell

Sixers homers looking at shooting stats so we don't have to:

Re: 2025 Draft Prospect Thread
with Maxey driving and creating, Embiid coming back to play centre, they might go Bailey for his catch n shoot for now and the upside as bonus

Re: 2025 Draft Prospect Thread
Early verticals at the combine
Flagg: 29.0 standing, 35.5 max
Harper: 30.5 standing, 32.0 max
Edgecombe: 30.0 standing, 38.5 max
Tre Johnson: 32.0 standing, 37.5
Ace: 27.5 standing, 34.5 max
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
