Oh ok 17 is probably all-star because he has big rebounding and assists numbers too :o

It's possible that Charlotte could get 2-3 players on the All-Star team in 2015

lets not get carried away. we need to get one first. the only teams to get 3 are the powerhouses with the "big 3s" that people cream their pants over. With that said I do think we'll get one this year. Al's gonna get respect for his all-NBA season. And Lance has a chance. I don't think Kemba's numbers are gonna get better, though he's on the border and should get consideration.

I'm not getting carried away. I only said that it's possible, and that possibility only come true if Al Jefferson continue his All-NBA ways, Lance Stephenson continue stuffing the stat sheets with points/rebounds/assist, and Kemba Walker shoot at least 44% from the field while the re-branded Charlotte Hornets go into February with a top-3 record in the Eastern Conference. It's possible, but I'm not considering it a reality right now. It's actually a outlier that I'm optimistic enough to give a 35% chance of happening

Evan Melton @evanmelton · 47m
@hornets What is the most important asset you bring to this growing team?

Charlotte Hornets @hornets · 45s
.@evanmelton That defensive edge. Sharing the ball. Playing with my teammates. Bringing excitement to the game so fans can show us love!

@hornets How excited are you to play for MJ and for a franchise that seems to have a bright future?

.@IliasAB27 definitely excited! MJ is the greatest of all time, believes in my talent. I can definitely learn from him his competitiveness

Vorbis got a question in:

Joshua Vorbis @vorbis · 50m
@hornets what’s the next step for you to become an All-Star type player?

.@vorbis Consistency. Bringing something to the table. That's what MJ told me - he said I need to work on being consistent.

@hornets why are u so awesome?

.@_imsamking_ I'm just cool. It's a gift!

I think we know what number Lance will be vying for.

@hornets who did you pattern your game after growing up?

@adamsamore Michael Jordan. Magic Johnson. Larry Bird. Penny Hardaway, Tracy McGrady - one of the reasons I wear #1

@hornets Who is Lance's favorite Carolina Panther? What was it like playing highschool ball with Kemba?

.@kalap_ Cam Newton! Because he wears #1!

@hornets Does @StephensonLance think Charlotte can be in the top4 of the Eastern conference?

.@MarcMorros00 Definitely. I don't want to jinx us but we'll definitely do it big this year and get as far as possible

@hornets Lance...what are you most excited for about being here in Charlotte?

.@UNPACKINIT meeting the fans, meeting my new teammates and just being here and having everyone welcoming me here!

Congratulations on signing Stephenson from a Sixers fan.

With the additions of Stephenson and Vonleh you guys should be much improved this year.

Lance seems to recognize the powerful offensive force that is Al Jefferson. He'll probably look to feed him early and often.

It also seems like Lance wants to be more of a Lebron James or Magic Johnson than Michael Jordan. He values triple doubles and defense over scoring.

My early prediction - 18.1 ppg, 7.5 apg, 4.9 rpg on 51% shooting, 38% from 3, 77% from FT. My guess he he gets a lot of assists to Al Jefferson and the 2nd unit.

That was surprisingly personable to me. Seems like he is genuinely happy to be here.

Yeah I don't see him going for #33. Like I said, there's no real connection there.

I think Lance's numbers will be more like 16 ppg 6 rpg 5 apg 1 stlpg. I think his rebounding numbers will go down because of our defensive scheme and the fact that we have great rebounding at three of the four other positions and possibly all four depending on who our starting PF is. I wouldn't be surprised if his points per game is a little higher than my prediction and rebound and assists are a little lower. I think that Lance will help Kembas game and especially his FG% more than anything or any player we have. Lance is the only true ballhandler with good court vision and a pass first mentality that can actually effectively draw attention and create for his teammates that Kemba has ever played with. Al draws a lot of attention but has bad court vision and rarely looks to pass. Now teams won't be able to blitz and trap Kemba on every pick and roll because if Lance catches it with all that room he can take it all the way to the rim with great effectiveness or hit the open man when the defense rotates to him. When Lance has the ball and is bullying his way into the paint everyone else will be a scoring threat and teams won't be able to double him or Kemba on pick and rolls. I think Kemba will average something like 18 ppg 4 rpg 6 apg 1.5 stlpg on 43% and 35% shooting numbers. I think Al's scoring might go down slightly because we won't rely on him as much and hopefully won't play him so many minutes. I could also see our guys scoring numbers being slightly inflated compared to what you would expect if Clifford wises up and has us push the pace more. I can't wait for this season. I really hope we can pull off a trade involving Hendo to get a quality PF that can hopefully shoot threes and play solid defense.

In one of the summer league inteviews he did Clifford specifically said he's going to look to push the pace more on offense this year, and that was before we signed Lance. I'm pretty sure that's solidly in the plans right now. It will help MKG and Zeller get in their grooves offensively, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what we end up doing.
