He'd be good anywhere he went. I'd throw in an unprotected first, and anyone besides Kemba/Monk/Miles. Probably going to take more than that to snag him. He's got a year after this year left on his contract.

Trade I would explore if both teams continue to underperform

From Miami to Charlotte
Whiteside, Waiters, Olynyk

From Charlotte to Miami
Monk, Zeller, Biyombo, Marv, future lottery protected 1st
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

I dont know about trading for draymond. i feel like he would be a lot worse if he didn't play with Curry/Klay and now KD.

Definitely will see a lot of his assists go away. a lot of lance 2.0 potential with him.

Marvin, Frank and prot 1st for Leonard? Im assuming you're meaning Kawhi Leonard. Like a top 7ish player in the league for Marvin, Frank, and a PROTECTED first. Come on now. Raptors giggle and hangup

You're drunk. Zeller and a 1st for Thompson. Are you secretly bobsbuddy?

If we’re giving up a first, Batum for TT and Korver

Otto Porter might be the best player available for the assets we could potentially part with. Washington looks like they are on the verge of imploding.

If LA's good play early turns out to be a fluke then it might be possible that Tobias Harris ends up on the market, but that seems less likely.

Beal is the one I'd like to pry away from Washington. He'd be a great fit next to Kemba.

Wiz are in a cap crunch. So are we. It won't work.

Beal was there when Cho took MKG. It might cost us Kemba.

Speaking of realistic trades, something like this trade (involving second round picks and nothing more) could be an option since it could satisfy everyone (obviously not all fans)

Kemba - Parker - Graham
Lin - Monk
Sefolosha - Batum - Bacon
Miles - MKG
Lopez - Hernangomez - Biyombo

Sefolosha & Lopez are on expiring contracts, Lin too but you try to keep some of them (ideally Lopez & Lin on team friendly contracts, Lin being the priority) once you have found a deal with Kemba. And at worst scenario, you did not torpedo your flexibility and can rebuild around young pieces (Miles, Monk, Graham & whatever pick is left for 2019 besides the 1st).
Even if not perfect, that would be a much more balanced team and the defense would not collapse as soon as MKG is injured. The only real loss would be Cody (knowing he still has some value).
This team has enough versatility to reach play offs. And they would restore enough flexibility even without moving Batum to play a role even in next off season (knowing Biyombo then Batum could be way easier to move during next season).

Marv + 2nds for Lin is pretty interesting. Atlanta is tanking and doesn't need Lin at all and no one is giving up a 1st for him unless Atlanta also takes on a really bad contract. Marv's contract only lasts one year longer than Lins and they have plenty of cap space anyways.

Lin would be a big upgrade over Parker imo and he would probably resign on a team friendly deal after his expiring contract comes off the books, so we'd save money and solve backup PG (I don't care, I'm still not buying Parker as a solution).

I'm not crazy about playing Miles more as a PF than SF yet and I also don't want to mess with MKG's current role, so it might make sense to combine the Lin/Marv deal with another small ball deal for a stop gap PF. I'd still do the Lin trade either way, but I'd prefer to keep the bench core in tact if possible (Lin/Monk/Miles/MKG/WHG just feels right).

Kupchak has to make a trade that compels Kemba. Kemba is the #2 scorer in the NBA behind Steph Curry and ahead of James Harden. That's MVP territory.

As much as some of us love Monk or Miles, I think one of them will be dealt as will at least one first round pick and multiple second rounders.

When you have an MVP caliber star who wants to stay, you have to cash in some chips.

We need someone to help Kemba close out games. We can hang with most teams, we just can't finish them.

It doesn't even have to be a big time piece. Remember when Utah brought in old ass Joe Johnson and dude won them like 8 extra games with his clutch baskets. Same with DC that one year they brought in old ass Paul Pierce. You know, it sucks that Wade has so much history with Miami, he would have been the perfect lowkey pickup after he left Chicago/Cleveland.

What about Jamal Crawford? He's over in the Phoenix Wasteland. Probably wouldn't cost anything.

I think he still might have a little in the tank

I would love him as a thrown in to a TJ Warren trade
