Does Clifford have the balls to make Al a reserve? We'll find out.
Humble yourself.

Well then MJ needs to balls to shop Al as well.
And Clifford needs to endorse it.

Making Al a backup isn't the solution. Do Clifford have the balls to hold him accountable when he's playing lousy defense enough to bench him for Biz is the question.

I think he's referring to if there's a team willing to take on Al, not if MJ would endorse it.

MI is so predictable. When we beat Denver (who is only two games back of NO) by 30, Al is just ok. When we beat NO by 2, Kemba is a god.

It doesn't take 2 to shop Al. It takes 2 to trade him. But they have to shop him. And I want to hear about it.

Nah, he should primarily be the focal point of the second unit.

I don't think there's a trade out there for Big Al that I would like and that's why I don't wanna trade him.

Re: Big Al's Paint: The Al Jefferson Thread
We couldn't beat a team of NO's caliber with Al in the lineup.
Except that one time we beat Denver by 30. But that doesn't count because Kemba.

No one could have predicted you coming to Al's defense. I can't believe I just used "Al" and "defense" in the same sentence without it being a joke.

I'm not even necessarily opposed to moving Al, and I've acknowledged that he's had a poor year so far. Just trying to provide some sort of counterbalance to the hate he gets on here. I'll say it again - tonight was not evidence that we are better without him anymore so than Denver is evidence that we are better with him.

Imagine yourself a Duke fan rooting for a team overrun by a UConn Huskie.
Jeremy Lamb trade can't happen soon enough.
Wish we kept Shabazz. I went berserk at the draft party when we selected him.

Fair enough. You have to admit the defense has been much better and the offense really hasn't been much worse in the short span we've been without him though.

Our defense is better without Al. That's for damn sure. And our offense was shotty even with Al. What we're missing is Tolliver, CDR, and McBob sniping 3s. Maybe Marv will start making more of them later in the season but I doubt it.

If only Marvin was shooting the same percentage from three that McRoberts did. Wait a second...

Get well Big Al. We gonna need you down the final stretch of this playoff push. Be ready to go back into All-NBA mode and play with some effort or else you can just stay injured.

I like how you didn't include the former two.

Can't really compare the two since Marv doesn't start anymore. McRoberts was starting caliber, Marv isn't.
