Way, way more than a promising talent. The talent is here and now and already playing amazing basketball.

I like Anthony Davis so I don't want to make this a debate that seem like I'm against him. If I could have Davis or Drummond for our team I would take Davis 95 out of 100 times. But who will have a more successful career between the two is still debatable. Davis could average 40 points while Drummond average 20 and win 3 championships down the line. It could very well end up being a Wilt Chamberlain vs Bill Russell thing between them when it's all said and done.

Lol. Ill just bow out at this point. Davis is obviously way better with way more upside and its not close. Ill keep it at that.

Lol. I'm sure they said the same about Wilt too.

I would soooo love to get into a Wilt vs Russell debate with you, but I must go to sleep.

We will save that for another time on the off topic board my man :)

Davis is easily the best prospect since Lebron, who was easily the best prospect since TD.

Drummond is a beast and I'd love to have him but he's not close to Davis in terms of production, upside or ability.

Boy that Dante Exum was a big mystery hype machine. He got time to turn into something but a superstar is not one of them. He's like the smaller version of Giannis but he had more draft hype because he played in the Nike Hoop Summit circuit.

OKC might not win another game until Durant or Westbrook get back.

Yet they kept it close to the end with a Clippers team projected to go to the finals by many. If they can continue to play with that energy they'll be bad but not that bad.

cavs played only 8 guys tonight (not counting mike miller playing 2 minutes). lebron and kyrie both played 43 minutes and love and waiters played 38. their bench combined for 12 pts. good luck trying to play the starting 5 40 mins a game for 82 games and expect to have anything left for the playoffs. not a chance kyrie and love can hold up for an entire season with those minutes, let alone playing deep into june.

of course, they do have the best player in basketball so anything can happen.

I was exaggerating mostly, but they can't score. No one on that team can get their own shot. Maybe in the long run it helps them with Roberson and PJIII and Telfair having to find ways to score in the NBA. They need Jackson back ASAP. The West is so loaded that this next month or two could really hurt them when it comes time to the playoffs. If they do make it in, which is still a possibility holy hell would that be miserable for one of the top seeds to have to go against.

Brooks finally has no excuse to not play Lamb anymore. Make or break season in OKC for him

He might have to average 20 shots a game out of necessity. It's a major bummer Anthony Morrow is also out 4-6 weeks.

WIth Alec Burks contract (10.5/yr) and what Rubio is likely to get (13 to 14.5/yr) Kemba's deal looks pretty dern good in comparison.

Now, those are 'bad' contracts

I wouldn't give Alec Burks over $7 million annually and Rubio over $9 million annually

I think we can all agree that if Alec Burks receives $10.5M/year, Gerald Henderson is opting out of his $6M contract next summer. That definitely seems like a forgone conclusion now.

If he proves to be a valuable sixth man, then I'm not worried.
